Emma was pulled from her sleep, and her eyes fluttered open. She heard Monica softly beckoning her to wake. When she explained the situation to her, she nodded, and sat upright. When the women left, Emma slid from the mattress, tossing the holed blanket to the floor. She brushed the wrinkled from her jeans and red flannel shirt, then stepped into her hiking boots. She laced them up tightly, and walked outside to join Monica. "I also need to find a new jacket." She muttered to the woman. Emma took her backpack that sat against the wall. She removed her pistol from the pack and checked it - she barely had a full clip of ammo. "I also have a whopping 7 bullets..." She added. She zipped up the bag and slung it over her shoulders. Her right hand brushed her hip and she briefly wished she had her knife with her. She also wondered if Danny and Shannon had found her hints at the bed and breakfast. Thirdly, she wondered if the Enrique and his boys were okay. She wondered if Burkley had made it out after helping her get away. She fixed the straps on her pack to hug her shoulders, then turned to Monica. "I'm good to go." She then looked at Ellis, was about to say something, then decided against it. Abram - Apartment/Road - Sam/Tina/Co. Abram was ready to get moving. He was patient while Tina was inside, as he sit against the hood of the car. He slightly stared off into space, not really paying attention. He was pulled from his thoughts when Leah jumped onto the truck hood. "Hey, kid. How you holding up?" He asked. "Not as Rubbish as I normally am." She muttered, rolling her shoulders. Abe laughed a little. It slightly amused him to hear her accent. He'd heard plenty of brits speak - but they were adults. Leah was he first kid he'd ever heard with an accent. "How's the leg?" "Feeling better, the pains starting to go away." "Mm, well that's good." He was about to continue, but Tina came out of the building, and they exchanged their respective farewells. He opted to offer Adam the front seat so he could help guide him. Abram didn't know this part of the area very well. "C'mon, hop in." He told Leah, who slid from the hood of the car. He turned to Sam and Turisa in the back. "Good to go?" He asked. Turisa nodded, then did Sam and Leah. "Off we go..." Abe said, and began the drive towards New Orleans.
