[@Eleventhfret] "It doesn't matter how easy a song is," Jess retorted, maintaining her calm expression. "It's how much of your soul you put into it." As he began to play, she played along, hitting the sticks against the wooden table. She was actually enjoying the music they were creating together; it sounded like something real. She was even more so impressed that he could sing that well and couldn't help but smile at his cowbell comment. He kept a triangle in his back pocket? That was a first for her. After the song ended, she twirled her sticks one more time before putting them back in her pockets. She got up and glanced over towards him. She didn't really get that good of a look at him earlier. He was alright looking, she supposed. There were definitely a lot worse out there and the horns were pretty hot. "Thanks. I go by Jess." she introduced herself casually, hiding the fact that she found his voice very attractive. She quickly checked the Match app on her phone, seeing as she got a notification. When she clicked on the attachment she saw on the screen was the name: Derek Thomas. And then there was his picture with it. She showed him her phone and told him, "Guess you were right. We're a match." She was a bit amused at the irony of it all. They looked like they could work well on the surface, but how good could the program actually be? Oh well, she didn't really mind that much. At least he was interesting.
