Name: Sindri Holt Age: 14 Year (in school): Freshman [hider=Rest of the CS here] Appearance: Given his country of origin, Sindri has somewhat light skin. His brown hair is kept clean and short, though more often than not it is somewhat unkempt as he doesn't put much thought or effort into trying to tame the somewhat wavy hair except for formal occasions. He is comfortable in fairly lightweight clothing, preferring somewhat more "sports"like clothing, often bearing the logo of some team or another from either the US or Canada. Cold weather doesn't seem to affect him too terribly aside from causing him to wear a jacket. Ability / Power / Creature: Time manipulation. Sindri can alter the flow of time, making time seem faster or slower to him. This carries its own set of benefits and drawbacks. With effort, he can completely halt the flow of time, though doing such for anything longer than a few seconds (relative to him) is taxing. He cannot reverse time at all. Biography: Sindri was a fairly typical boy in classes. He was graded remarkably well in most physical courses, and did fairly well on most tests he was given. He learned of his power almost by accident. You know how watching a clock makes time feel like it's slower than hell? how each second takes a minute? Well, for Sindri, it was almost literal. The last five minutes of some of his school days seemed to drag on for an hour or more. It wasn't until sixth grade, when he was excited and wanted the day to end quickly, that it became clear. He accidentally sped time up, and a whole hour passed in less than a minute. Time returned to normal to find Sindri under the care of paramedics, who almost had pronounced him dead. Once his parents were notified, they were relieved. However, no one seemed to really notice that Sindri had a power, just that there had been a strange event. But Sindri noticed. With a bit of practice, he found that he could slow or speed the passage of time. When he was getting ready to go to high school, his parents were happy to let him do some research and find out what school he wanted to go to. Some friends of his family had gone to the Northwood Academy, and it was suggested that maybe a kid as smart as Sindri would be welcome there. He applied, and traveled there to interview for the application. It was easy for the Headmistress to realize that Sindri had some power along with the fact that he was a pretty smart kid, and so he was accepted. His parents were happy to send him to such a nice school, never knowing that there was a reason besides his grades that he was accepted. Personality: Sindri is a pretty nice guy. He’s polite to just about everyone that he meets. He’s not much of a social person, and doesn’t feel like he needs to go out of his way to try to get social interaction. If approached, though, he’s more than pleased to give a bit of a conversation and isn’t terribly awkward. He’s slow to anger and quick to forgive, but if you burn him by being dishonest, he’ll simply decide to not trust you while still being more or less nice to you. He loves sports, but tends to prefer sports that don’t involve him having to be on a team with other people.
