All The World’s A Stage
On the banks of the River Avon, resides a quiet, little market town by the name of Stratford, better known to most as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. The townsfolk seem like any other, going about their day, living life to the fullest. Not everything, however, is as simple as it seems. There has been a long standing feud, going back two generations, between the Montagues and Capulets. The tension between the two families weighs on everyone, no matter where their allegiance lies. And that’s just the big picture. Even more twists lie within this town if you’re willing to dig deep enough, and it’s not hard to get caught up in it. The mysterious disappearance of Mayor Macduff’s family, the endless squabbling of the Lear sisters -- all while a howling, summer storm dubbed ‘The Tempest’ brews. Stratford-upon-Avon is near tipping point, and it’s becoming clear to its inhabitants that a chaos, quite unlike anything they’ve ever seen, is about to descend upon them. Will they be the ones to take control? Or will they simply sit back, relax, and watch these events unfold?
As you might’ve already guessed, this is an RP based on the works William Shakespeare, given a modern day twist. Any character from any of Shakespeare’s plays are available for your choosing, as long as they fit into the setting. This RP will mostly be character-driven, with scheduled tasks and an overarching plotline to weave it all together. Below are the rules and character skeleton, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

1. No OOC drama, I don’t want anyone causing trouble outside the RP. 2. At least two decent-sized paragraphs per post. Exceptions can be made from time to time, especially when some back-and-forth is needed, but try to keep to a paragraph, at the very least. 3. There isn’t a character limit. You can have as many as you want, provided you know how to handle them well. 4. No godmodding, everyone should already know this by now. 5. Try to post at least twice a week, your character will be back up for grabs if I haven’t heard from you in that time. However, if you give me an ETA of your absence beforehand, this can be negotiated. 6. This is a Mature roleplay, meaning that there will be death, and possibly events of a sexual nature. Though I should probably mention that the latter should be brought to PMs. 7. Last but certainly not least, remember to have fun.
