The beginning of Everything
Their plans were quickly falling apart. The simulation was meant to keep the metas under wraps for at least another month so that they could meet the main fleet and take them to the nearest loyal star system. The metas barely even lasted a day in the system and now they were running rampart around the ship, beginning to figure out how to break the walls down and unite with their allies. She was less than pleased but she had accomplished her mission - she had the girl in her custody and no one was going to stop her. Except for herself. She was going to stop herself from boarding a jumpship and taking Aiko to the Godking. A difficult feat but she could manage it. "Silence, little one. The storm has yet to even begin." She liked to think that she had planned this from the beginning but in truth, she was just taking things as they came. A leaf on the wind. Eventually, she drew Aiko to a large crossroad in the passages. It branched off in several different directions but she didn't concern herself with them. Stepping into the centre of the circle, the room seemed to momentarily expand before contracting once more, becoming a simple room that was lowering itself down into the bowels of the behemoth. Their descent eventually stopped as the wall parted to reveal another long hallway. This one was a lot more alien in nature as the walls seemed to pulse with a deep blue energy like some great vein of the gigantic ship. "Cover your eyes. You are still innocent, I presume." She whispered to Aiko as they drew close to the end of the hallway. The door at the end seemed resistant to her but egentually, she forced her will upon it enough for it to scamper away, leaving a gap. The room itself was a large chamber but the walls themselves seemed to be screens, providing a three hundred and sixty degree view of the ship's surroundings. In the middle, the command console lay with half a dozen hulking beasts manning it. They were visibly tall and humanoid in some aspects but radically different in others. Although darkness and armour veiled them, their curved, almost blade-like legs were visible. Above them were a small torso but clawed arms that seemed capable of hinging unhinging themselves to extend the bladed limbs. They were hideous in most regards but their eyes shone with a fiery intelligence. As soon as she entered, they clicked in warning, two of the closer ones moving into fighting stances. Leaning down, she pulled Aiko into a tight embrace so that her eyes were covered as she began to hum a gentle lullaby. It was incapable of covering their cries of pain which ceased within a few seconds. Once they were dead, she took control in the command centre and instantly released the metas from their cages. Her reasoning remained hidden but to Elijah Craigh (and ultimately, all of the other LA metas) she lit up a pathway directing them to her location. All she had to do now was wait.
Aiko heard the sounds even with the lullaby. She was terrified of the woman who just killed her... whatever. They were her allies. Yet this woman killed them. Aiko cried, who kills ones allies? Aiko knew she was with a monster. A monster of the most terrifying sort.

Cindy Wade
It was Cindy's pod that Camille corrupted but it still took its time to finally fall apart and release her from the deep sleep that had enveloped her. Lights were the first things that greeted her eyes and she briefly wondered if she was dead before she felt the kicking of Eden in her stomach. Her pregnancy was developing at a worrying rate and she was clearly in some discomfort as she dragged herself from her pod. Eden wasn't her only worry in that moment, however. She had remembered being with Ruby before, then there was bright lights, then a beach and now she was here. It was all terribly confusing but she was certain that this was reality and she was no longer dreaming. Whatever it was, she needed to find someone else; someone who could help her. She worried for the small baby she was carrying and momentarily extended a hand over her bulging stomach before sighing and turning towards the exit, convinced that she needed to leave the safe proximity of the room. Leaving through the dissolved wall, she followed the line of lights that seemed to lead on forever before she finally came across where the main group was gathered. Unwilling to intervene, she stood on the outside of the group, eyes darting around for any danger and a hand protectively clasped over her stomach. "Where am I?"
Cindy heard a growling. Above her pod was a thing of a female shape. IT looked as if somebody had crossed a woman and a tiger. "Where am I?" she hissed and growled at Cindy and the others. Thy could see her suit broke and torn by her sinister claws at the end of her nails. The stunned silence made her angry. "I DEMAND TO KNOW WHERE AM I?" she roared.
"Right-oooo, Mr. Voice-in-my-Head, Right-oooo." Max said, ignoring how he looked like he was talking to himself. "I'll get right on with following whatever script you have planned out, just as soon as you open this fucking door!" He kicked at the thing twice as the others in the room groaned, still out of it from the sim. What luck was this. What was the point of getting special instructions if he couldn't do anything with them? Seriously, what was the point of giving them to him if there was no way to get out? There were no buttons on this door. No switch. No nob. Not even a window. He patted all over the thing, but there was nothing there. But then the door suddenly sprung open, so fast he had to step back, and reveled a long metal hallway and...voices? Slowly, he peaked out the newly opened doorway to see who was in this hallway. When he saw, he waved at the others in the room. "Stay here. Don't let anyone in this room." He whispered, before walking out. Elijah Craige. Speak of the devil and he appears. Being carried down the hall by Nate Hunter. The independent contractors Cedric had brought on right before...before everything had fallen down. There was a niggling suspicion in the back of his mind over that, but since there really wasn't a way to be sure... "Hey, Craigh. Hunter. Hold up. What are you- hooooly shit." He said, passing by the hole melted in the wall. Yeah, any guy who could do something like that you wanted either really close or really far away in this situation. "Max Sheppard. Reformist. The guy working the front, that's me. You probably passed me on the way into the building. I don't know if you were planning to follow these lights to wherever, but I've got a list of names in my head and he's on it." He explained, tapping the side of his head. "Also we're apparently in space or some bullshit. Point is, I don't think you should carry him that way if that's what someone wants."
Karen was annoyed. "Who the hell are you?"
