[@SheriffLlama] Sky glanced down at Mason and looked over at Nau. Kym, who had just been recently released from the infirmary shook her head at him and Sky looked back down at the boy. "You know those bedtime stories that your parents used to tell you when you were a little kid?" Sky asked, getting even with the guy. "About those things called a Death Anomalous that can kill you with one touch to bare skin? Yeah, those things are real. I've faced one once before in my life. It near killed me. It really blinded Tri and has put him in the hospital again." Sky shook his head. "You kids aren't ready for this but you're the best we've ever had, though a little rough around the edges." Sky glanced down at his watch. Five minutes left... [hr] Colt froze when he heard the announcement and immediately changed into his gear. He hurried down the hallway, heading toward the weapons room when he remember something. He sprinted back to his room and rushed over to his baggage. He yanked open the zippers and pulled out some slim swords. He smiled at them and strapped them across his back. Moving with rhythm, he drew them from his back and began swinging, doing moves as he was taught back in Luminosity. He took a deep breath before shoving them back in his sheathes. As he ran back by, he heard a clank and the sound of glass shattering. He paused for a moment and looked back toward the desk next to his bed. The small picture frame was tipped over, shattered glass on its sides. He walked over to it carefully and drew up the picture, looking at it. The smiling girl looked up at him and he winced underneath her gaze. He stared down into the picture frame, his reflection on her face looking back up at him. Suddenly, his face gently morphed into her beautiful one. He smiled down at the reflection, looking back on fond memories, when she smiled as well. He narrow his eyes, his smile turning into a deep frown and she did the same. He jumped back away from the reflection. What the hell...? He walked over to the glass and picked it back up again, staring down at it. This time he only saw his face. His and his alone. Putting the confusing incident to the back of his mind, he stared back down at the picture before glancing over toward Dyana's room. Crumpling it up, he threw the picture in the trash next to his bed. It was time to move on. Leave the past in the past. He hurried down the hallway, swinging by the weapons room as he did so. He grabbed a Starshot 47, holstering it on his hip before hurrying up to the roof. He saw Sky talking to another Recruit, but he didn't see Dyana quite yet. He took a deep breath again, gathering his courage to ask the one thing that he hadn't asked a girl in almost three years. [@AgentFallenSoul] [hr] Citrine was lying in her bed when the announcement came through after a hard day of exercising. She sat up quickly when she realized that the Recruits were begin called into action. She stood up and immediately switched into her uniform, shoving her feet into her boots. She grabbed her father's old 76th Grande Pistol from its holster in her bag and wrapped the holster around his waist, shoving the pistol back in its place. Knowing that she wouldn't need much more, she sprinted up to the roof. She moved over to Kym's group and waited.
