Hi-Summoner Realmor walked up to the podium in the middle of the stage. He gazed at the thousands of students sitting in the auditorium waiting for him to start. Today was to be the celebration of the school's 100th anniversary since Ason the great established it in 1920. Realmor closed his eyes and began to concentrate, he said a few lines of incantation and a bright light filled the room. Once it dissipated a large bird with feathers of shimmering gold rested on his right shoulder. "Students! Today is the celebration of a most grand occasion! Today is the day, that the master of summoning, the Great Hi-Summoner Ason established this magnificent school! As such, in order to celebrate such a joyous occasion, the school will add a new grade level so that younger students can enter this prestigious and learn the ways of summoning. After much research and discussion, it has been decided that this new program will start at the beginning of the new school year." Realmor was glad that he didn't have to talk to much, he just had to do the opening remarks; brief as they were though, it got the message to students. Ason High had recently increased in size after the tragic fall and destruction of a nearby business building taking up a large portion of land. No one figured out who had did it, all they did know, was that there was a single figure fleeing from the scene as the building bursted into flames followed quickly by a set a small explosions placed at the supports. It fell in minutes and the schools east wall received heavy damage from the incident. 3 years had past since that terrible event, and a small memorial just outside of the school marked the death of those who died. No one knows who was responsible, but many people refer to the figure as the Burning Phantom. Soon the new school year would start, and Realmor was both nervous and excited for the expected influx of new students. He wanted everything to be perfect on that day. Nothing less would be accepted, so he went to the schools summoning building and walked to the store house inside it. He was quickly met by a large blue gaseous enigma. Enigma: What brings you to this sacred area Realmor? Realmor: I just want to inspect the store house of summoning disks one last time. Enigma: You know they are all there and set in place. Realmor: I know, but one last time please. Enigma: Fine... I don't know why I let you in so frequently. Realmor: Oh just relax Eledon. Eledon opened a door in the wall and Realmor walked through. Inside was a large cavernous expanse, filled with shelves and cases of summoning disks. Realmor looked back on the time he first received his summon. Arc-Pheonix. Realmor eagerly awaited his turn as he watched another student enter through the magic door. He was so excited, he just wanted to run in there and look around. The giant blue enigma however kept all the students in a tight quiet line. No one wanted to make the mysterious gas angry. Rumor has it, that if you made the gas angry it would eat you and you would become gas yourself. No one really believed it, but then again, no one wanted to take that chance. Finally, his time had come, Realmor tentatively walked through the portal and was amazed by the huge area all full of strange looking stone disks. Almost immediately, he was greeted by another gaseous enigma, this one was red. Ahhh. Young one, would you care to take a walk with me? Realmor silently agreed and the 2 walked down a large staircase deeper into the room. As they walked, Realmor felt a strange sensation he never felt before. As if it were tugging to some point in the cavern. It felt warm, cozy, but scary all at the same time. He really didn't know how to explain the sensation but soon enough he stopped in front of a large pile of disks. He didn't know how, but he knew which disk to pick. He slowly walked over and grabbed a disk lying on the floor. Is this the one you choose? Realmor nodded his head and the 2 walked to a different part of the cavern. They stopped in front of a huge magic circle and the red enigma bade him place the disk in the center. Realmor did as he was told and set it down. He stepped back and the circle began to glow. Brighter and brighter the light grew, till it was blinding. Soon it faded and what was left was a small white gold bird standing where the disk once was. Congratulations child, you both have chosen each other. Realmor quickly ran over to the tiny bird and scooped him up. The bird immediately reacted by jumping onto his shoulder. Realmor left the cavernous expanse with a smile on his face. That was the day he and Fury had first met.
Meeka woke up as the delicious smell of bacon wafted up to her room. She quickly got out of bed and got dressed in her favorite outfit. It was a purplish-pink dress that her mom made for her last year as a birthday gift. Despite the fact that it was very fashionable, the dress was surprisingly comfortable as well. Meeka didn't care that her mom used her as advertisement for the already famous clothesline "Chic Gray". She just enjoyed being able to wear beautiful clothes. Once Meeka was dressed, she raced down the stairs and into the kitchen, where her dad and his summoned creature, Baalfire were cooking food. Baalfire was a large fire elemental with wicked flamesteel gauntlets on both hands. Her dad had made a large area around the house out of stone so that Baalfire could be out and about. without burning the house down, or the nearby trees. "Hey dad? How long have you had Baalfire again?" Meeka's dad smiled as he looked back at his daughter. "Oh goodness.... its been how long Baalfire?" "15 years. And I wasn't nearly this big when we first met. I was small enough to fit into a microwave." Meeka's dad laughed and he pulled the pan off of Baalfire's hand. Meeka grabbed a pot holder and set it on the table so that her dad could put the burning pan down. Shortly after they sat down, Meeka's mom came into the kitchen wearing a very "interesting" dress. Dad didn't even look up, he knew the clothes his wife was wearing. She had showed him yesterday and his comment was still the same. You look like a "sick mermaid out of water. It's not going to sell, nor will your staff approve of it." Meeka chuckled a little as her mom walked out of the kitchen grumbling. She grabbed some eggs off a plate, than a piece of toast, (Masterfully toasted by Baalfire) and a slice of bacon. She quickly ate all of it and impatiently waited for her dad to finish eating. Her dad sensed eager eyes staring him down and simply said, "We can't leave until your mother is ready." Meeka slumped her head on the table and fiddled with the few scraps of food left on her plate. "She'll take forever." Today was to be the first day that Meeka was to go to high school. It wasn't just any highschool, but it was Ason High. An amazing academy set on a large hill over looking the city setting itself as the greatest landmark around for many miles. Meeka couldn't contain herself, she wanted to leave, she wanted to go to school. She wanted..... to get her own summoned creature just like her dad. Meeka's mom eventually came out in a much more modest and comely outfit. Her dad got up and grabbed the keys off the hook, gave Baalfire charge of the house while they were gone, and drove off to Felmont city once everyone was in the car. After what seemed like an eternity, they pulled up to the front gate of the school and Meeka jumped out of the car as soon as she could. She stopped shortly after she got out though; there were so many kids her age standing around, all of them waiting for the gates to open. Meeka suddenly felt very shy and nervous, and just sat under a tree a short distance off from the crowd of kids.
