Main Characters

Name:Xid Terrik Species:Human Age: 17 Gender: Male Faction: Jedi Order Rank: Recent Knight Appearance: Xid is a pale skinned teenage with a slender and lean built compared to his fellow knights. Despite his age, the soft, rounded shape and bright blue of his eyes make him appear much younger than he really is by a few years. It doesn’t help lacking facial hair and his gentle features doesn’t do much to enhance his looks. Another defining feature is his wavy, dirty blond hair that looks like a messy collection of slight curls. If left alone for several months it will become rather shaggy, often getting into his eyesight and partly blinding him. Often enough his fingers and hands are covered in bruises, cuts, callous, and burn due to his work with machines and droids. Out of habit, his usual 5’7” height drops an inch or two whenever he slouches due to lacking confidence. It’s a habit he doesn’t realize he does until mentioned publicly causing him to straighten his spine though his posture might slip back into it. He is dressed simple like most Jedi. The basics include tunic and under one, both cream colored and overlapped by tabards around the torso. Finally topped off with obi (belt) to hold his lightsaber on his trousers and finally thick boots for his feet. Flaws:

Pain tolerance: Xid’s pain threshold is much lower compared to other Jedi, making physical torture much more a concern than emotional or mental.
Low value: he values others over himself, believing their lives worth more. This has lead to him sometimes to undervaluing himself and his ability, resulting in diminished effects compared to what he could achieve. It also makes him more reckless when it comes to saving others and will often leave him banged and bruised in his attempts to save them. Often a dangerous things, namely should he be unable.
Single sense of justice: While he was born and raised in the Jedi line of thinking, Xid has a strict sense of right and wrong in his mind. Though his exposure to the Sith ways is lacking and skewered to see them to be misguided, deceitful, and dangerous. Namely something the universe would’ve been better off without. It doesn’t help, Xid believes nothing coming from a selfish act would ever benefit the world.
Past Wounds: He was betrayed by someone he trusted and in the manner he was exposed to the grey areas, something that never settled right with him. Though it was several months ago, it has made things unfamiliar to him and not tied with the Jedi harder for him to find confidence in fully trusting. Mainly this includes the Sith, but other sources like authority, civilians, and such are among his list, causing him to second guess his instinct.
Skills:

Machinist Knowledge: Xid’s ability to manipulate machines comes from two sources, his own force powers and the other linked directly is with his own experience. Throughout most his career as a padawan and knight, Xid has had the chance to work on machines on various levels including advance and basics used for daily uses. He’s yet to discover a machine he’s been unable to figure out through either method, especially given time and a chance to tinker with it.
Shii-Cho: Form I: Though he lacks the physical strength to match a combative partner or enemy, Xid easily has the stamina to prolong a battle which was why his master focused his studies into a non-lethal style. It also fit his mentality the best since he was unwilling to value his life over another, creating a concern in Sela he might never be able to take a life should his own be on the line. Current he has a low moderate skill level at this.
Force capabilities:

Basic Force Abilities: Xid knows them and can perform them at a high intermediate level. However, it’s not because of power, but rather experience and practice. With some time, confidence, and motivation, his skill level in this area can improve to greater levels.
Mechu-deru: Due to his adept skills with machines, Xid was able to use an advanced skill which made up for his lacking in combative skill. Through sight or touch, he can determine the outlay of a machine or structure but the larger his target is than the longer and more focus it will take. This leaves him unable to focus on his surroundings and an easy target to any threats around him, depending on others to defend him until he’s able to withdraw. Another flaw is his mind is a limiting factor on how much information he can retain after the first touch. It would be unreasonable to expect him to recall every single thing about a complicated structure like the specs of a ship after the first time and must be done in fragments, else he risks getting things wrong in his rush.
Healing: Xid is able to heal others, taking away wounds, suffering or hurt despite what he thinks about them. Though unlike his Mechu-deru force capability, his healing is also harmful to himself if he doesn’t maintain focus on when to stop. Namely, the knight will give all his energy to the wounded, trying to heal everything, unless stopped. If allowed, it can leave him helpless to outside dangers.
Biography: Family Mother- Unknown Father- unknown Xid never knew his parents or any family associated with them. He was told his father never claimed him while his mother was a nameless, faceless woman who died in childbirth born within the lower districts. The other relations seemed to have nothing to do with him or didn’t exist, his mind preferring to think the later since no one ever confirmed either one. The fact he was raised on the surface and within the Jedi Temple was simply luck. Instead of the gloomy, dismal future, Xid had a bright one the day he was left at the Temple steps with no idea why. Like many initiates, he was trained in the Jedi code and how to access the force which he took to easily. At least in his own fashion. Combat was a difficult area for his force skills and often resulted in barely acceptable standards, ending in him feeling a faint sense of isolation even among his fellow initiates. This sensation only grew when on his seventh birthday he felt a connection with machines which evolved into a desire to learn. Surprisingly, he took to it rather rapidly and ended up fixing a very stubborn machine. Even the machinist, who had failed to fix it, couldn’t understand how he had been able to repair it causing Xid a desire to hone this skill. Just on the month he was suppose to turn nine, he went a sort of Apprentice Tournament. During wartime it was hard to keep the traditions with so many on the frontlines and casualties piling up, which made him slightly surprised the Coruscant Temple had resisted the changes. He had heard of some temples or academies instead took to assigning padawan and master, finding the old traditions taking far too long. However, like everything, even this cherished attempt to keep to the past had been altered by the era’s turmoil. Only three Jedi were physically present as the rest were nothing but holograms, projections of other masters, calmly observing. When it began most of its events were based on combat, a skill he lacked in, with each of the few initiate pairing off to spar. Even at a huge disadvantage, Xid still managed to give it his all. Toward the end of the rounds, partners in his skill range started thinning out, he had gotten to display his own unique skill at the time and win a chance to earn a master more fitting to his strengths. The three master present physically had first choice as they approached. Three padawans were chosen though the whole time he kept feverishly believing the next one would pick him. Those remaining, himself included, were returned to their rooms where they be delivered the news on where their destiny would take them. There was only two options, Jedi Corps or Jedi, the prior much rarer than in the past for force users. It was still a distant possibility. For a week or more, Xid was on pins and needles. He watched Jedi arrive then leave with their young padawans shortly after, concern his fate was likely the Jedi Corps. Walking the Temple halls toward the week’s end, someone touched his shoulder and instinctively he looked at the source. Behind him stood an older knight, far into her late thirties or early forties, with a kind look about her face. He learned later the Knight’s name was Sela Kythor and he was to become her padawan apprentice. Xid never understood why his master chose him. It was clear she bore the traits of fighting on the front lines as her face side was scarred by a lightsaber, her figure had been so lithe and strong that it was slightly strange to see her outside combat. It turned out she had been heavily wounded in a fight with a Sith, nearly costing her life, and now she was unable to reach the skills she once had. That was mostly due to her synthetics, though he had little idea how she had gotten them or from where. Her spine had been repaired and while it looked slightly machine like, most the flesh had mended over. Underneath was another matter, a series of wires, connections and more that helped replace what she had lost. Her eye had lost some depth perspective which required an implant to repair. It gave her eye a more robotic look and one that seemed to intimidate many when it was swirled about to face someone. So what did a war scarred Jedi have to teach a padawan whose skills of strength fell far below her own? Plenty it seemed. The first task was the easiest as his master required him to construct his own lightsaber, using nothing but the force and without any signs of struggle Xid had completed his assignment. He was jittery and nervous when Sela eyed over the weapon as if seeking flaws, her expression, like all masters, impossible to read accurately. When she was done she handed it back to him in silence. That was when the training truly began. For the next four years, his training became both mentally and physically challenging in preparations to become a Knight one day. Often he would push himself until his fingers bled through his combat never rose above moderate excellence. The same couldn’t be said about his skills in machines. While increasing and advancing his natural skills, Xid had began to edge into a commonly used force skill used by Jedi technicians called mechu-deru. He took to it like a fish to water, which didn’t surprise Sela in the least, and enable him to aid beyond just pure combat. Throughout his days as a padawan, the boy had traveled from Coruscant to Balmorra and even farther. Most weren’t considered worth telling compared to war tales from Jedi on the front lines. His last mission, however, had seemed to leave Xid rather broken and different than when he had left. Both in experience and personality, his mind withdrawn inward. This caused master’s concern raised during their return to Coruscant. They remained on the planet for two months while Sela hoped the change in scenery, surrounded by other Jedi of various, and more pleasant memories would do him some good. Within the first two weeks he showed improvements, his mind eager to move on and gave his master hope. It was then they began training for the final set of trials Xid would ever take: those that turn him from a padawan into a knight. It was the hardest tests in his life but two weeks shy of the Sacking, he was fully knighted. His braid severed and his training done, Sela still seemed to remain at his side to watch her riskiest choice play out. He sensed a flare of uncertainty within her even when it seemed all would’ve been well enough. Motivation: [1st person] Being a Jedi, I know the code by heart. Every word, each sentence and meaning, but it seems only my head fully understands it. Despite this, it seems to not have stopped me advancing to Knight though I deeply feel some guilt because of it. Something my master said is uncalled for and maybe, this is the core of my motivation lies. Namely to prove to myself this path is the right course for the world as whole because I have never seen an evil act benefit beyond whom it originated from, even in the ripples. It doesn’t help I can’t state suffering in others when I can ease their pain and this trait extends to enemies, if there’s a chance I can save them. I have a habit of valuing others over myself as I strive to follow the teaches I’ve learned to the best of my ability. On my last mission, I had an experience that rattled me greatly. I came face to face with death and worse, a prisoner whom I could relate to on a level not even my master could understand. He could see the world like I can and even more, knew how to apply it to the current working of my surroundings. It was like we were a mirror image of each other. Someone who had the same understanding and skills to influence the world, but unlike me he had a series of misfortunate events and suffered a fate worse than death. In the end, he showed his true colors and let me bitter to trusting anyone outside the Jedi Order. I decided within the two months we stayed on that I would never become like him...even if I died trying. Player’s Long Term Goals: The story I want to tell with Xid is rather simple, though he has to survive long enough for it to take root. He’s talents and skill are far from combat able, proving he is the weakest when it comes to physical confrontation yet he’s far from useless. Instead he’s had to account for those flaws and uses his advantages to aid his shortcoming and achieve the same end goal as those with the skills. There’s two paths possible with him that tell two completely different stories.
Jedi to the End If he can bear through the torture, death, and misery the Sith caused him then he will remain in the light. However depending on what he had done, he might be unable to live with himself and in the end, Xid will die. It would likely be in an action of pure selflessness that would end causing a devastating blow to the Sith as he accepts his fate. Light turned Shadow If the Sith manage to turn him, Xid will be end up slowly twisting into a blackened version of himself. The progression rate depends on the Master he will serve under. The more cruel and focused the teacher is then the faster he will progress. If he’s ignored, progression will be much slower but he’ll never become a Jedi again.
Relations:

Sela Kythor: Old master and a great teacher
Kinsakwi: Master Jedi, Twi’Lek: A fellow Jedi and ally, alongside her Padawan, who aided him on Corellia.
Shiri Nilim: Jedi Padawan to Kinsakwi, keep in touch on Coruscant where she was left to be watched by his old master.
Koren Omi-Ren: A Jedi Peacekeeper on Manaan and met again on Coruscant, both healing from unseen scars.
Nazca: A new force user, though most would’ve classed her as a youngling or initiate due to the fact she’s not a padawan yet.
Jedi Master Olon: A Jedi Master Sela took him to for his earlier training, strictly in deru mechu, which she couldn't provide. Once he managed the basics they parted ways though until recently two months ago.
Somminick 'Som' Lorso: 3 years his senior, male Miralian Padawan, Xid met Som as he calls himself during training for his own Knight trials. They meditated and sparring sessions, which Som usually came out on top on.
Final Point - Secrets: Sent to the GMs.

Name: Jayda Mirthios Species: mostly Zabrak (⅝) and part Human (⅜) Age: 27 Gender: Female Faction: Sith Empire Rank: Recent Sith apprentice Appearance: Being a hybrid between zabrak and human, Jayda’s image entwined traits from each race to create a strong visual. Her Zabrak traits are the most notable, starting with her six black orat (horns) crowning around her forehead and ending at her head sides. The front four are the smallest falling just under half an inch in total length. Often the smaller orat are hidden under the looser bangs left untied from the rest of it, her hair often back pulled into pony and the tail resting just between her shoulder blades. The last horn pair end the crown and are two inches in length, making them much more notable in size comparison. Their points unable to be ignored while they peer through the red tinted strands. Framing her intense, purple eyes are her Jato or tribal tattoos which curve about from about her eyebrow, trail down her face side and end at her jawline where it stops. A few inches from there and along her neck is where her Jati, another type of tattoo, trailing in a L shape covering the shoulder tops where it ends near the back and spine. Her overall average height is 5’10” and is average for both races as well. Unlike the more vibrate colors of some of her Zabrak kin, her skin is a dark caramel coloring, complementing her over all features and the pure greyish white ink used for her tattoos. Her clothing and style can be mistaken for modesty, but the reality of it is much different. More accurate is that her fashion is chosen to hide the bitter reminder of her past failings shown as the very scars, both old and new, trailing from the sides of her face downward covering most her skin. These maim her Jato and Jati though they are still distinguishable through the mended wounds of the past. Though not all her damage is on the surface. A few examples of her style can be seen here: Example 1 and Example 2 and Example 3. Usually in dark or black colors, her more casual wear is long shirts, pants, flat sole boots, and belt where her light saber is always kept. She is rarely without gloves which prevent her hands from slipping on the grip of her weapons. Currently her belt usually only holds her lightsaber, the colors themed black and purple with an etching into the upper bit of the hilt. Notable Race Traits: Physical

Skeleton: Having mostly Zabrak in her bloodline than Human, her bones have developed thicker and more durable. This allows her to sustain serious amounts of pressure before they will crack or break.
Orat and nails: Her horns, or orat, are just as durable which can be used to both protect against impact or unless blunted, they could slice flesh. Her fingernails are sturdy and sharp as well, able to cut like small razors though not as deep as a light saber or true weapon.
Circulatory system: All Zabrak have two hearts, the left one being the main heart which provide most the force in the flow while the right aids and hasten it. They both are located between the lungs, though they are set slightly more in front and the lungs are slightly smaller to account for the dual organs.
Higher Metabolism: Most of her internal systems run faster due or longer due to the extra heart pumping blood through her body, but more food and energy is required to sustain it properly.
Immune System: Increased though it will not protect her from everything, it provides a suitable defense against a great many natural diseases, poisons and drugs.
Pain Tolerance: Zabrak are known for their high resistance to pain when it comes to bearing through torture or serious wounds.
Extreme Heat Tolerance: She’s able to tolerate much higher temperatures of heat and for much longer periods without it taking a toll on her.
Senses
Eyes Sight: Pupils are more feline in nature, enabling her to see in extreme brightness or almost pitch darkness due the pupil’s ability to contract or expand easily. Hearing: Slightly above a human’s range, yet the lowest of her heightened senses, she can easily pick up small sounds within a few yards of her current location. Scent: More akin to a bloodhound's ability, this is the strongest and most useful sense Jayda can use. It can pick out a drop of blood within a room easily, from how fresh to the very owner if she can manage to follow the scent back within less than a day. Taste: This is the lowest sense compared to her others making one of the good reasons why most zabrak are mostly carnivorous. Anything cooked well done seems to be bland and tasteless while bloody and almost raw meat has the best taste, making it difficult to tell if the food has been...’spiced’ in other ways.
Flaws: Biology While her unique biology has some perks, it also has some problems. Starting with her bones, the thickness might add durability but also weight. It makes activities which require light bones much greater in difficulty to achieve and often draining stamina over long, continuous periods. One prime example is swimming which creates a risk of drowning, an activity Jayda knows how but rarely does. Despite the higher thickness, the bones can still break and shatter if enough pressure is applied by a stronger being as well as flesh being sliced, blood spilt and muscles torn. In addition, if one of her hearts are damage or injury enough then it could end up killing her. Namely because of the irregular beats and blood flow could interfere with each, working against the other’s effects. This is very painful and dangerous making nearly all incidents non-survivable for her race. Her pupils can see in constant and almost extreme darkness or brightness, yet rapid changes like flashes or utter darkness/light is blinding. The sightless period depend on the exposure lasting from seconds to minutes and even hours. Hearing can catch sounds above human range, similar to a feline, which can be distraction even when properly trained. Some sounds can be painful or jerk her attention, especially if one sense is missing causing it to make up for the loss, drawing close to paranoia. When assaulted, her worse sense by far is smell mainly because of its strength. Mixing too many aromas or one over powerful one can make Jayda develop the urge to recoil, even hurl if caught unawares by it. Internal systems also have their downside. While immunity makes natural disease, drugs and poison effects last short by purging the body quicker, symptoms and weakness show much sooner. This can easily cripple her unexpectedly while bring her to her knees and impairing her ability to function. In order to perform properly she requires a carnivorous diet of protein and rich fats of large amounts. High pain tolerance doesn’t mean they feel nothing. Rather that it takes a higher concentration of damage applied and it doesn’t come without consequence or mean that the attack failed to damage her at all. Living on Iridonis, a desertlike planet, has enable her kind to tolerate heat quite easily. However, the colder temperatures can be rather troublesome and uncomfortable while being stuck in them over a long time. Often it only burns more precious energy staying warm then needed. Other Areas She knows her master's style, Djem So, enough to be able perform it adeptly and no longer need the fundamentals. However, she lacks experience and practice with the style unlike Form III, which she has used most her life. While she is superior in combat and the force fundamentals behind it, her skills and defenses within the more mental aspect of the force is heavily lacking. Mostly due to Sish’s absence teaching this which has made her more vulnerable compared to other properly apprentices. Skills:

Iridonian heritage: Jayda was born on Iridonia where most of her childhood and early adulthood had been spent submerged within its culture. Among the skills includes riding the immigrated Reeks, speaking fluent Ul’ Zabrak, hunting and tracking as well as martial arts and combat practices. In addition to her own heritage, she was also taught about the Jedi order and its tradition through her father’s teachings though his methods weren’t at all like the Order.
Sish’s Torture: Due to her master’s brutal methods in trying to convince her, Jayda has gained a slight tolerance against force lightning. It will still bring her to her knees when applied and cause her great pain. However, after the beginning application and longer time she being electrocuted, she can force herself to stand and fight it. After being subjected to force lightning for a few hours each day, some tolerance is expected.
Quick learning: It takes much shorter and less practice to achieve knowledge and understanding of a conception, even quicker if it's one that relates to her basic knowledge. For example, combat and more physical training is much easier for her to catch onto than mental. Muscle memory establishment takes at least several weeks to months in order to fix within her natural reactions. Sometimes they must change when a reflex puts her in harm’s way when made, taking just as long to break the habit.
Adaptability in combat: From a young age, Jayda has learned to fight as being a deep seated belief and right. This is increased through her culture as well as her history, making her rather adaptable and creative when it comes to survival.
Lightsaber combat: high skill with Soresu (Form III) and adept with Djem So (Form V).
Force capabilities:

Tutaminis: While this is the basics every Jedi learns when it comes to controlling their force powers, Jayda has develop this ability into its more advance stages. This enabled her to deflect blasters and block light saber attacks though the longer she is forced to maintain it then the more it drains her stamina. Force lightning however has proven rather difficult use this against at her current stage.
Healing: Plain and simple, the ability to mend wounds. However, sensation dealt during mending, knitting and healing injuries are based more on the type of empathy/hatred relationship to the subject. A complete lack of any feelings or emotional sense, a stranger for example, to an individual then there's likely to be numbness in sensation. Those who she feels intense hatred or dislike will find themselves in complete misery and suffering during the healing process as the nerves and pain receptors responsible for pain tolerance have not been turned off. Likewise, allies and closer companions will feel the opposite as they are left with a near pure and relaxing experience.
Biography: Family -Father: Hymo, a Zabrak with some human lineage [force sensitive] -Mother: Taishma, a full Zabrak -Brother: Mehinn, hybrid Zabrak, three years older and twin [force sensitive] -Sister: Kandra, hybrid Zabrak, three years old and twin -Brother: Kaet, human, seven years younger and adopted Jayda was born on the Zabrak homeworld, Iridonia, and born to Hymo and Taishma from the Mirthios clan. Among her childhood, she was raised among three other siblings: Mehinn and Kandra, both twins, had been born three years earlier while the youngest, later named Kaet, was found as a orphan human and brought in when he was four. Jayda had grown up within the first seven years as a healthy, normal and happy Zabrak child. She had began to dub into martial arts and combat, like many Iridonian children, in order to survive the harsh environment she called home. Mostly taught by her parents, Jayda thrived best within the movements of the art because it seemed to give the inner peace she had trouble finding elsewhere. It was during one of those training lessons that she first showed her force connect at the age of eight, her brother tested positive to the tests and deep within his training under their father. She had managed a sloppy, ill controlled force jump in an attempt to avoid her father’s low sweeping kick. The years passed and around puberty, she underwent the customary physical changes every Zabrak went through. It was during this time she learned combat did well to control her rather violent mood swings and further enhance her focus, sparing her experiences with the dark side and enabling her to cope. A year later, her Res’Selenoren occurred. Rite of adulthood which included a mental, physical and social challenge customary for all youths within her culture to complete. None of them were easy and both the physical and social challenges were far more demanding strictly because she was able to enhance her combat skills with her force, providing an unusual advantage over her less gifted Zabrak. Reaching into adulthood after passing the challenges, her face and neck area were tattooed with the traditional marking of Jato and Jati respectively. Shortly after, her brother’s training had reached its peak and her father’s focus turned upon her more fully. It was here she learned only a bit of her father’s past. Her mind absorbed the Jedi teachings and their Code, yet Hymo usually encouraged her to think for herself when it came to interpretations of the lessons. Possibly the very reason she never fully connected to them. She had just turned nineteen when her mother had been wounded in a fight with the local wildlife. It was here she witnessed the complete and utter pain her father went through, a living nightmare, as he was helpless to save his mate from the poison. Her father, Kaet and herself were only able to watch her slowly wither away. It had become Jayda’s task to deliver the message to Mehinn currently training in the capital, her journey taking her far from home. Less then an hour into their visit, a Sith, Trandoshan with a hunger for violence and suffering arrived. In the fight, Jayda was thrown from the window after her brother was murdered right in front of her. His screams followed her all the way down when she hit a balcony and felt her bones nearly shatter into pieces. Driven by hatred, she vowed to avenge her brother as she bought and charted a route to follow him. It took her a year, between seeking hearsays and truths, to find him on Kashyyyk where many vicious and dangerous creatures called it home. Naturally trouble found her when a serious miscommunication came about between Jayda and three wookiees, victims of Sish’s terrible enjoyment, resulting in combat. She managed to kill two but the third had managed to stun her, sending her lightsaber from her hand and was about to bash her head in repeatedly. Her worst enemy saved her life by using her distraction to kill the final wookiee. Instead of thanking him, she flickered her lightsaber to her hand and attacked. Still broken and weak from the earlier encounter, Jayda was easily defeated then knocked out cold. Any amount of time could’ve passed when she woke up swinging just a few feet from the forest ground. She had been dragged, bound, and left to die within the Kashyyyk shadowlands. Too weak to use her force powers and her lighsaber long gone, the zabrak used her claws to cut herself down. She was lucky for the most part. Even while bleeding, weak, and exhausted, her only experiences were the local wildlife on route to her ship. She had been stalked and attacked once by an anakkona, ambushed by gorryl slugs, sighted leaflizards, avoided netcasters, and finally she was almost mauled by a katarn. The beast had the pure unpleasant nerve to camp out by her ship and unable to access her force powers, she didn’t escape without a scratch. The transport reeked of the Trandoshan’s scent. Her eyes narrowed at the strongest source, discovering both her lightsaber and a note. For the next five years she endured what she would later learned was his apprenticeship trials, a test of her strength in three areas. Physical, mental and emotional were all easily passed but scars were left inside and out. When she passed the final one, standing in the burning remains of a village spared from Sish’s brutality, then Sith finally revealed himself. He made an offer of apprenticeship and tried to convince her to take it. Still enraged over her brother's murder, Jayda attacked and again, Sish proved she wasn’t strong enough. Two years she suffered as his prisoner. Starvation, mutilation, pain and torture were the mildest descriptions at what she had to endure. When it became clear she would die rather then become his apprentice, he changed his methods. He made it clear she couldn’t get revenge if she has died and only by understanding what made him powerful could she hope to end his life. That was four months ago and it wasn’t an instant change. Several times she had tried to kill him, each one failed and something injured or broken as a lesson for her sloppiness. She hadn’t stooped low enough to poison him...yet. Jayda would be lying to herself if she didn’t admit the thought wafted within her mind on occasion and seemed to spur her into trying. However her desire to use her own bare hands to ensure the ‘gunsos jho meni yidaj'ter’ (as she calls him) suffers when he dies had pushed her into more confrontal methods rather than dirty ones. Another factor could also because out of respect that she rather face an opponent and have them know who was responsible for their death. Motivation: [1st person] My main drive is revenge on Sish. He murdered my brother in cold blood, nearly killing me as well, leaving me to chase him all over the galaxy. I can’t rest until I can make him suffer in the same manner he made Mehinn suffer. It’s petty and pitiful, this I won’t deny or pretend to justify to those who have no understanding. The important part is that it matters most to me. Many would believe I’m doing this for more selfish reasons and I’ll willingly accept their views, but those who know me well enough can see the truth. I’m driven on by Mehinn’s memory. I know he wouldn’t want me to leave Sish alive or allow the gunos jho meni yidaj’ter to ruin more lives. Getting revenge accomplishes that. If my father was here, he would’ve been sadden by my resolution, seeing through the outer appearance and realizing I’m too set on a goal out of guilt and pain. He would’ve tried until his dying breath to rip me from this path though reason or other means. Among the few Sith I’ve encountered with my master, I’ve felt like an outsider. While I know both Jedi and Sith codes by hearts, I’m unable to fully understand them or accept their way of life. Emotion as I’ve seen in my youth can be violent and erratic, killing off what is a part of me if I indulge too far. This I can feel happening which only helps to drive me away. Ironic I should be fearful of the darkside and stray when I can from it, something I doubt Jedi could ever do. However, when I stray too far into the light I lose the ability to connect with others. Or rather, I lose sight of what it’s like to feel and my humanity in a way. Feeling completely at peace leaves me feeling nothing but numb and frozen within my soul. It’s like staring into a blinding light and ignoring the shadow I know I’m casting in its rays. The last thing I seek is a balance to myself, namely a place between chaos and peace where I can exist. Player’s Long Term Goals: Jayda’s overall plotline, despite if she lives or not, is all about finding a balance within herself. By nature, she is a grey when it comes to her connection to the force and it is during this rp that will come into conflict with both sides. In the beginning she will start off as mostly Sith by choice due to becoming Sish’s apprentice but Jedi or Sith interactions (both good and bad) toward her can easily influence her current alignment, changing it slightly between light and dark. Path to the Light Side This will allow other players throughout time, even those who don’t survive, to decide her end path. Should she manage to overcome the challenges in the IC, show Sish mercy once or allow another to kill him, interact with enough Jedi or in particular ways and finally fully severe any Sith connections than she very well might might find her way to a grey light. Path to the Dark Side However, the opposite is also true as she can easily become corrupted by the Sith’s world. This includes, but not limited to being manipulated, blackmailed, questionable Jedi interactions, attempted murder or given a motivation to gain power outside killing Sish. In addition falling killing Sish while giving into her emotions completely will make her become more grey black in this aspect and any chance to bring her back is impossible for the Jedi. Third option Depending on the combination of the conditions met, Jayda could end up at some point finding a middle ground between light and dark. Her own sense of balance and peace. However this path is the most dangerous as she wouldn’t be able to align with either Sith or Jedi, namely due to the fact her motivation is harder to predict. This would make her an enemy to both Jedi and Sith alike because she would seek to balance the forces of light and dark rather than ally fractions into winning the war. Relations:

~Kinsakwi: Jedi master, a purple Twi’Lek. During Jayda’s time on Tattooine, while tracking Sish, this meddlesome Jedi and she had encounter each other a few times. Namely it Jayda who made great strides to prevent the Jedi from ending Sish’s life before her as well as getting killed by him. The Jedi was lucky all she lose was two fingers.
~Sish: Sith Lord, Trandoshan. Her brother’s murder and current master of four months. He is the primary reason she is currently aligned with the Sith and source of most her hatred, his claws having left their traces in the two years he brutally starved, beaten and sliced her surface leaving nothing but fresh scars.
Final Point - Secrets: GMs know…

Non-Player Characters

Name: Navi (Navigation Droid) Description: Navi isn’t your common droid. Anyone with any experience and minor interaction with droids can easily tell that on first sight, the design customized by Xid himself. First off is Navi’s angular and hexagonal shaped body, about 35 cm in diameter and 15 cm in thickness all the way around. Six segmented legs, recycled and refitted from their original droid, are attached at the base with magnets enabling Navi to climb walls and scale metal surfaces easily. On the front of the design are two, slot shaped eyes and a slot to eject a slicer probe. Despite the bot’s design’s complicated look compared to others, Xid’s design is simple, compact and limits Navi’s usefulness. Flaws -Eye catching: Because of his customized design, he isn’t made to blend in. In fact it would be unlikely someone who notices his presence would not realize he’s a unique droid. Proving it’s a Jedi ally, however, is another matter until he’s caught and cut apart. -Limited slicing ability: Navi’s skill level in this area is at the basic levels of slicing, meaning an expert slicer could run rings around the little droid and there’s nothing he could do about it. Highly secure data, he could likely locate it with the right information, but gathering, understanding, and even accessing it could be another matter. -Personality Flaws: Due to Xid’s dislike of wiping droid’s memories, Navi has developed some personality issues and habits that less than ideal for a droid his size. Short tempered and overprotective of Xid, this little droid’s aspect on good and evil depends on the situation and if Xid’s around to keep the bot on the right path. As far as Navi is concerned, as long as Xid is safe than nothing else matters. -Little Strength: Navi’s size limits the weight he can carry or move, namely without stress on his small droid body enough to crush it. At max he can move up to 25 lbs total while he can only lift up to 15 lbs before it starts to stress his hull and damage it, so it’s not likely he’ll be used to pull Jedi or other people to new heights any time soon. -Weak Shell: To lighten the overall weight but at a price, Navi’s durability suffers for it. This means he can’t take any shots from a blaster or direct score by a lightsaber, causing his tactics to be more hit and run then head on confrontation. Skills/Ability - Slicer level: Basic level which means public access terminals, and low protected systems are easily bypassable. However high security and well guarded systems can easily propel him, even alerting others to his slicing giving him barely enough time to scurry off. -Magnet feet: Small magnets attached to the bottom of its six appendages, this enables Navi to scale up metal walls, hulls, and more with a problem. However, if he’s carrying too much weight then he risks his magnets disconnecting, causing the droid and his cargo to plummet to the ground. -Quick on his Feet: Without the extra hardware most bots have, Navi’s fast and hard to caught. One moment he could be there and the next, he’s gone like a flash out of sight before anyone can usually catch him. -Small Size: Navi’s more compact size allows him to fit in places most average beings and many droids can’t. He can reach into vents, holes, or other areas without notice making it simple to enter place otherwise locked out to others. What he does from there… well, only his creator can guess at the hell the little droid will play. -Grappling Hook: Navi has a small, little grapple on the end of a lengthy line that can reach up to five foot from his current position. He can use this to snatch items from tables, entangle limbs, or lower himself from higher places with a simple attach and retract down.

Name: Lyric Novan Species: Human Age: 39 Gender: Male Faction: Jedi Order Rank: Jedi master Captive? No, currently off planet. Current location is where the Memory is being put into her final stages and preparing ready to set off on her mission to seek out the Jedi who are mysteriously missing. Appearance: Like many Jedi in this era, Lyric Novan has seen war at its worse and grimmest, however rarely will his appearance and relax manner reflect it. His figure is lean, muscular and well adapted to combat. Numerous scars lay under his traditional Jedi uniform thanks to the many encounters with death at the Sith’s hands, his blade being better and cutting down his foes’ lives without mercy. Thankfully many of those scars lie under his under and over tunics, tabards, and loose trousers, the cloth thickness and layers prevents most of them from being an eyesore. Save for the one over his right eye. His robes' color theme is dull blue and cream white, the outer layers being colored compared to the inner. His utility belt and combat boots are black leather. Hanging from the belt is his lightsaber and several pouches that allow him to carry other tools. Flaws:

-Odd quirk: Lyric has a bad habit of smoking thanks to his experience in wartime. He namely smokes cigarra made from a Macan herbs wrapped in paper, rarely is he seen without one stuck and lite in his mouth.
-Not the Average Master: Lyric is a calm and seemingly lazy individual with some negative views on what he sees as a bad idea. He’s not afraid of being negative and bluntly stating his opinion of a situation before the actual start. After all he’s usually expecting some type of snag or caught, something to go horribly wrong in some form. Though he usually passes it off in a mild way.
Skills:

Lightsaber forms: Ataru [Form IV] and Soresu [Form III] (less skilled)
Medic Basic Knowledge: He doesn’t have healing capabilities with the force, but doesn’t mean he’s useless. He has a wide knowledge of herbs and medicinal applications, enabling him to patch up the wounded using his experience gained during the field. It’s not as good as Force healing but it will do in a pinch when you need to survive until you find a Jedi with it. [Carries herbs, bandages, stitches, etc]
War Experience: Lyric has been a Jedi in and out of war all his life, serving mostly in Balmorra in a wide range of roles. He has gotten to prefer the support role compared to the direct and in the field since for him, it’s got better odds in surviving for both his allies and himself.
Force capabilities:

Basics: Mastered in the basics all Jedi know well, Lyric’s very skilled and effective when he fully applies himself.
Force Illusion: Lyric is able to make illusions as the force power clearly states, but his particular talent lives in creating human size of someone. This can range from an ideal replicate of himself, identical down to the gritty details, to a complete stranger and ally. Useful when it comes to trickery and giving the Sith false targets, Lyric managed to create up to four copies total which could range from human size to smaller.
Force Cloak: Blend light around himself, making him invisible. While sight might not detect him, sound, touch, and force sense are another matter since it only affects light. Lyric usually uses this in union with his force illusion to get the drop on his opponents, especially those less skilled.
Force Stun: When facing more than one, it's always nice to even the odds. Best way to do that is by stunning and knocking out one of the threats, evening up the odds.
Revitalize: Due to his position as usually support, Lyric learned the art to restore his allies tired energy. However any wounds, serious injury, or prior battle damage will still exist. The only difference is they will feel no exhaustion or drainage from them until they start to deplete it again.
Telekinetic Whirlwind: Able to hit multiple enemies around him by creating a mini whirlwind, thinning uneven odds and often catching his foes off guard. Just because he's able to use doesn't mean he can knock them off their feet however.
Biography: Lyric’s beginnings started off small. He was the only child in a farming colony, his parents and the village residing on some waterback planet somewhere. It was so long ago he can’t recall the name or does it matter because at five years old he was discovered by a Jedi Knight. The man took him from his parents and transported him to the nearest academy where he was taught the basics of what it meant to be a Jedi. The war started when he was 13, the Empire striking at the Republic, sparking a war he would shortly be tossed into in later years. Becoming a padawan and training under a Jedi knight named Cydian Horthaus, dancing on the front lines with Empire troopers for several years before being rotated off for his Knight trials. He’s done two rounds at Balmorra, the first one five years and the last one seven. He’s been to Kaut for two years between, both recovering from wounds and mental stress being in continual battle against the Empire. On the end of his last rotation, he’s been asked to head a specialized mission to rescue a few Jedi that have went missing over the years since the war’s start. They suspect a Darth Nyiss to be connection but until more information comes through, they merely only able to prepare and wait.

Name: Sela Kythor Species: Human Age: 48 Gender: Female Faction: Jedi Order Rank: Jedi master Captive? Depends... we'll wait and see. Appearance: On first glimpse, Sela might be considered pretty to many. That is, if she wasn’t such a strict follower of the Jedi teachings and kept her appearance rather humbling. A dark skin human, she has few age lines budding along her face where the strongest hints of crow feet are near her eyes and mouth corners, adding just enough maturity to enhance her wisdom without making her look like a crippled woman. Her nose is small, board and shows it has been broken at least once that puts it off center slightly with a lightsaber scar across the bridge. Another of her most notable features are her bright, blue eyes. When they seem to study to someone, it feels like they pass through and into their very soul without much effort. Sadly the left one was damaged in a Sith encounter, a thin, almost invisible scar line from brow down to her jawline, which has left it unable to perceive depth unless up close and personal, a very dangerous matter when in the front lines. Still most younglings are often silenced with a single look from her, even when they seem unable to explain why because her looks are never judging or scolding. Merely it seems she’s waiting for her turn to speak. Midnight black corn rows frame her face where they are pulled back and bundled into rings several times to the back of her head. If ever left down, then they would reach below her shoulders as she rarely ever cuts it. Trained in combat and masterful use in her lightsaber, Sela’s figure is lithe and fit for her dimming years. In her earlier years she was among the most promising Jedi Sentinels, the proof of her talent and experience lacing her appearance. Though she’s a little stiff in her flexibility since before she took on Xid, a Sith also managed to score a slice across her back, she can still hold her own in encounters. The spinal damage seriously affected the nerves and were beyond healing capabilities, which surprise many who learn about it. Few rarely realize even force powers have their limits to what they can repair, especially if too much time has passed. Her height is at about 5’9” allowing her to meet eye to eye with many of her fellow masters without adjusting her head level. Her outfit consisted in the theme color of dark tan and browns, her under tunic, over tunic, tabards, and boots were all dark tan. The over tunic was pleated and reached to just above her knees, the waist held a brown utility belt with a simple blue lightsaber. Her loose, free moving trousers however was the same as her heavy, hooded cloak completing the look. Flaws: - Perception depth loss in left eye. - Spine damage has killed her movement reaction by a notable margin, though she can still hold her own. Skills:

Lightsaber forms: Knowledgeable and extensive training in the forms Shii-Cho (Form I) and Makashi (Form II)
Force capabilities:

Crucitorn: Increased pain threshold, enabling her to focus over usually crippling pain. However the wounds inflicted, while activated, are difficult to tell how damaging and could ultimately put her in a early grave if used carelessly.
Basics and Force Speed: She's mastered the basics adn is very well adept with their workings, as well as how to use them to her advantage. Speed Force is one she has improved beyond the natural requirements and she uses to cover her weakness though over use in long spans of time will quickly drain her stamina.
Force Bellow: This can knock her foes off balance but is unable to directly harm them, instead she uses it to distract and allow her to strike quickly.
Adv. Tutaminis: Can block blasters, but not lightsabers, in combat.
Biography: Born and orphaned, her parents killed on one of the planets involved with the war's skirmishes. She was later brought to the local academy, learning alongside other fellow students and like many before the war showed she had promise. It was at ten she became a Padawan under a Knight Jaxis Loresin, a Zabrak, who's strength was physical combat and mental strength. Her years under his guidance was to prepare her for the struggles not just in life, but against the Sith, working mainly on her combative skills and prowess. Her first mission was on Coruscant when she was fourteen, working alongside her master to follow a connection from a dying soldier on the front lines. It turned out it was more complicated than they originally bargained for causing them both to end up in a struggle to survive. Taking what they learned, the information was enough to arrest and prosecute several Coruscant civilians connected to the Empire. It was small, confidence builder and introduction into working as a Jedi. At 22 she passed her knight trials, the Jedi cutting her braid in the traditional way. This all before the war started and torn the fragile peace they worked for apart. Two years later, she was drawn into combat when the Minos Cluster Campaign began. She was caught up in those events for eight years or so, experiencing the more bloodied side of being a Jedi Knight. It was only the start. She was moved to Balmorra a year later and after that, caught up in the terror in the Battle of Alderaan where she earned the status of Jedi Master. After that incident many good and decent comrades, friends, and more allies fell under the Empire's cruel hands. It wasn't until she was 40, still alive and able to preform like in her prime, did she end up becoming severely injured in the Blockade of Hydian Way. A more skilled Lord Sith had easily overtaken her in combat, already drained from taking several apprentices and troopers earlier, resulting in severed her spine pretty badly. At the end, she was left behind assuming she would've died from her wounds. She was located by Republic soldiers while she crawled to the nearest outpost. She was immediately transported to H’Ratth where she met a young Padawan, Lea Rahn, and helped to guide her through recovery. It was a long road trying to regain the motor skills she lost, edging into the ability she once had and managing only most of it. During her recovery, she watched during a hologram the Coruscant Temple's attempts to keep to traditions as best as they could despite the war. Her eyes causally glimpsed over the tournament, a thing she had done in the past many times before, seeking something that tell which Padawan would be suited for her. She lingered on a thin, fragile blond boy. Something about him drew her to him but she didn't know what, not until he managed to show off his latent ability: machines. Sending a message, she managed to make the trip a few months later to retrieve Xid Terrik. Most the Jedi were surprised at her choice though she knew in her gut, mind and being she had chosen right. For the next six years she spent training him and accompanying him into danger from Corellia to Balmorra, and filling herself with pride at his success. Sadly, the last two years had done something to him during that key mission. It worried her slightly causing Sela to bring Xid back to Coruscant, a place his life started and a reminder that he might pull through the effects. It would at least prevent him from withdrawing too far.
