Meeka felt really nervous, she had never been near so many people all at one time. She really didn't leave the house much so she didn't interact with as many people in the city than she should have. She looked at all the kids, some were very tall, some were loud, others just stood in awkward silence. "What's going on here?" she thought as rested her head on the tree. She thought about all the things she wanted to do at school, now... she just wanted to go home. She was terrified of how many kids were here, and to make matters worse, her parents had already left. They knew Meeka too well, if they had stayed, Meeka would have complained to them until they took her home. She just sat there not knowing what to do. Meeka eventually stood up and heard what sounded like... snoring? She looked up and fell back down scared and almost screamed when she saw some random boy sleeping in the tree above her. Meeka looked around, no one had seen her reaction, she hoped, but school was getting ready to start and she couldn't talk. It was like a cat had her tongue. No matter how hard she tried, the words wouldn't come out. So she did the next best thing, she grabbed a small stick nearby and threw it at the boy to wake him. She winced a little when it hit him in the head. She suddenly shouted, "Wake up!"
