[@Ruby Etra] Well, yes and no. All summons are brought forth through disks from the plane of existence. The 2 gas beings guarding that special room are the twin gods of the elements. There is a lot of lore in the background that will be explained later. I would say dark earth for poisonous plant.

In short, summons exist on their plane until called forth by a summoner through the means of a magical disk attached to them.
