[@Supercon22], So Rodger heard a pair of roars from his hotel room from the Zoo, rode his moterbike to the zoo, scaled a ladder to see over the wall, saw Pearl confronting a supervillain, somehow missed the giant blue man, climbed back down, hopped back on his motorbike, rode around to the entrance of the zoo, got inside, then rode all the way back to where he'd seen the animal parade going down to pull up dramatically behind Pearl and threaten her?

Because that's the sequence of events as I understand it.
