Background:(I decided to tell this through the quests, it was easier to structure) Horror From the Deep Rakkardar Farstrider (originally named Eric Finter) was born to a small family in the village of seers, once he was of age left to become an adventurer. He traveled northwest and came upon a lighthouse that had been left unlit, after a multitude of difficult events he ended up face to face with the mother of the Dagganoth who he barely managed to kill. He obtained a book of Armadyl from the lighthouse's keeper that he keeps with him always. Fremennik Trials Rakkardar eventually came upon the Fremennik Village of Rellekka Rakkardar's birthname was quickly forsaken after he completed the trials of becoming a Fremennik. The trials had been one of the most difficult times of his life as he attempted to gain the respect of the Fremennik tribe. After gaining the vote of seven of the Fremennik council members, he was recognized by Brundt the Chieftain as Rakkardar Farstrider because of his lust for adventure. Fremennik Isles A year later, he was called upon once more to help on the island of Jatizo to spy on the island of Neitiznot, after some time he joined the Neitiznot as the leader of Jatizo was a paranoid fool that refused to deal with the troll problem on the island. the Burgher of Neitiznot on the other hand was in the midst of preparing to finish the trolls off once and for all by killing their king. Rakkardar created armor from the yaks and a shield from the wood of the arctic pines. The Burgher deemed Rakkardar worthy to lead his forces in battle against the trolls. After giving Rakkardar his helmet he gave him his blessing to charge the front lines. After a lengthy battle Rakkardar emerged victorious with the head of the troll king. He was bestowed the rank of General of Neitiznot. Throne of Miscellania Once that was resolved Rakkardar continued his ventures around the Fremmenik isles he was eventually invited to the the island of Miscellania to meet the king. After learning of King Vargas's...unique condition he was tasked with wooing the princess so as to become the regent. (Fastforward past this part of the quest line and the lunar quest line to half way through Blood Runs Deep) Blood Runs Deep Rakkardar, now a grown battle seasoned Fremennik prepared for the final battle with the Daggermouths (Dagganoth). His new wife, her brother, Baba Yaga, and Koschei The Deathless charged into the lair of the new Dagganoth Mother. Koschei and the others stayed behind to hold back the Dagganoth kings while Rakkardar dealt with the Mother. After a lengthy battle with the Horror, Rakkardar managed to injure the Mother and seal her within the cave, never to be found again. Unfortunately both the prince and princess were killed by the Dagganoth kings. Who Rakkardar pledged to eventually find and kill. Koschei's Troubles A week or so after the battle with the Dagganoth, Rakkardar visited his trusted ally Koschei. He found that Koschei needed his help to remove a tree that had been "calling him." Finding that the tree itself was invulnerable to any ax he posessed, Rakkardar took a swing with Balmung to find that the blade cleaved through the tree with almost no resistance. As he examined the stump, he found an odd box that he quickly returned to Koschei. In the series of events that followed, Rakkardar learned that Koschei was actually a Mahjarrat named Kharshai that had wiped his own memories to hide from the others. Shortly thereafter, two Mahjarrat appeared and tried to force Kharshai to side with their respective gods. Of course, Kharshai chose to remain neutral, a decision that Rakkardar respected in this situation. Ultimately, both of the Mahjarrat left after warning Kharshai that he would not be recieving their support...not that Kharshai wanted it in the first place. After all was said and done, Kharshai taught Rakkardar how to tune bane ore and upgraded Balmung for him. Present day
