[B]Biography:[/b]
Arik was born and raised in Germany on Earth, and had no intention of leaving the planet most of his life. As a child he had taken a liking to boxing, his father happily teaching Arik. This led to Arik getting into fights in school, though usually nothing major. As he grew older, Arik grew larger and stronger, his fights getting more violent. In high school Arik was expelled from the school system for assaulting a teacher. No diploma, he needed to find a job to earn money, finding a living in the ring.

Arik was a star under the spotlight every night, defeating any challengers. His life had become comfortable as he earned wealth and fame from every win. This continued for a while until Arik was faced with an opponent equal to himself. The match was brutal and lasted over an hour,  both men refusing to give in. Just before the final bell Arik landed one last punch on the man, knocking him to the floor. The match ended, Arik was declared the winner, but the man did not stand. Upon medical examination he was found to be dead.

Arik was banned from his weight class, losinghis source of income. As if tgat weren't enough, the following legal battle cost Arik almost everything he had. Arike became muscle for hire, taking any job he could, until he came across an advertisement for a mining job on a frontier world. Not having many other options, he took the job, immediately preparing for the journey.
