Damian Luv

Café

With Jack Thomas
The young man felt fingers threaded with his, rough and worn from his time swimming against Damian’s softer, smoother hands that he spent a lot of time maintaining. It was a habit of his really, to make sure he was properly groomed and presentable to the public, even if half of them thought he was a freak and the other half wouldn’t approach him if they had to. It was a miracle that Jack had even looked at him twice when they met in the match office, the goth had expected him to look and say no before asking for a different boy; maybe someone nicer on the eyes, taller, maybe a more submissive boy even. “Of course it does Jack.” Damian said with a smile, leading the older man inside the café, passed a few other couples and a lone girl. He noticed a girl at the counter, a male next to her and from the way she carried herself, the homosexual boy could tell that the girl was gay as well and that the attention from the male was unwanted. Finding the two a seat, Damian signalled to Jack that he would be right back, flicking a wrist toward the two at the counter, and turned away before the man could argue. “Elise?” Damian said the girls name, remembering it from history class the previous semester as he walked up to her, his hands shoved in his sweater pockets as he approached, smiling at her as if they were familiar with each other. “I didn’t expect to see you here.” Finally reaching them, Damian leaned forward and hugged to girl, whispering in her ear “Go with it,” so that the boy, who he now recognized as Gabriel, wouldn’t hear him; kissed her on the cheek before turning and obviously checking out the male. “I don’t think he’s your type Elise; or you his. I just don’t see this working at all. Besides, aren’t you already in a committed relationship?” He had heard the girl speaking when he’d originally walked passed. With an arm around her shoulder he nudged her playfully before letting go and setting a hand on Gabriel’s shoulder. “Get lost bud. I’m sure he won’t be happy to know you’ve been hitting on his girl.” With that, Damian walked back over the where Jack sat, allowing his passive threat to hang in the air around the player. Damian came to rest on the other side of the table from Jack, obviously annoyed by the encounter and even more so by the male with which he had spoken to. “She’s obviously gay nimrod.” He muttered under his breath with a sigh, waiting for the young waitress to come over and hand them menu’s while asking for their drinks. “Mint chocolate frapichino, milk and sugar, foam and nutmeg on top.” He told her his drink order slowly, waiting for her to write part of it down before he continued on until the end; his fingers tapping on the table in front of him. When she left he looked at Jack across the table. “So you wanted to know about this?” He pointed at the side of his neck where the black webbing was hidden beneath the thick curtain of hair he’d taught to retain its shape and stay in place. He lifted a hand and swept his hair out of the way while he pulled down the collar of his shirt to expose more of it; it laced further beneath his clothing though he showed no more than that. He parted his lips, licking them and trying to get rid of the sudden dryness that came with the hint of fear and nervousness that wracked through him as he thought about why he’d gotten the tattoo and how much pain it had put him through. “To be frank, I got it because I’m gay. It’s a spider’s web, designed to catch and snare and never let its prey go. I guess it was my way of showing how trapped I felt for a long time before coming here. Even after I came here actually, I felt trapped by society. It stains my skin, just like my hands are stained and his. He touched me, when he found out I liked men over girls. Not in a way I wanted him to either. It was horrible; his hands were rough, uncaring. I can still remember the smell of smoke and whiskey on his breath, sweat and soot clinging to his body. The taste of my own tears; the sound of the cat clawing on the door and the dog howling for help because he couldn’t get in. I imagine he left with quite a few bites; if he made it out at all. Either way I never saw him again.” By the time that Damian was done he was cradling his face in his hand, breathing deeply with his eyes closed, ridged and very aware as he tried to shove aside the memories that continued to play behind his eyelids. It was like he could smell him again but he knew it wasn’t real, it wasn’t now. Now was Jack and Colorado and he breathed deeply, waiting to see how Jack would respond. The man had asked after all, but Damian hadn’t been able to just lie about it, or stop talking after he first said something. [@Avanhelsing][@Konica][@my Lalia]

Claudia Desmond

Café

With Connor and Ryko Quick
The young woman looked up at the two shortly after she had spoken, her hands adjusting the scarf around her neck and pulling her sleeves down tight so that they were sitting halfway down her hands, leaving only her fingers exposed. She was nervous beyond belief and didn’t know what she was supposed to say, how to act, when to look at them and how; she used to be so good at this, but she’d forgotten how after her life had started to disintegrate. Her blue eyes found each of theirs and, hesitant and shy, she reached over to the other side of the table and touched Ryko’s hand – Connor had already gone off to the counter to talk to the waitress behind it of course. Claudia had always been one to help others and refuse help herself, though she’d been losing that magic touch she had with people for a while now and she wasn’t sure if she would be able to get him to look at her or react as her fingers brushed against the back of his hand. She tried to smile, the turning of the left corner of her mouth pulling at her face and the angry red scar pulled on her face, seeming to spread as it moved though it just tugged on her face as it had since she’d broken her cheekbone. What Ryko had gotten wrong was that not every scar was someone else’s doing. “I’m sure you’re no worse than them.” Claudia spoke quietly, her voice nearly a whisper as she spoke to him, her eyes flicking off to the side as if she was afraid of something though she wouldn’t readily admit it at all. Every time she was around someone something bad would happen and she didn’t want anyone showing up and ruining her first day back to school. [@ScarlettWaters16]

Kain Hail

Rooftop – Eclipse Dormitory
When one is spotted at the scene of a murder, normally they would act shocked or surprised, cry or scream though Kain did none; he looked at the girl who had seen him and inclined his head before vanishing into thin air. If she told anyone they would think she was insane or just seeing things because of what she had witnessed and in the meantime, Kain would be far away on the other side of campus with no recollection of what had happened because he was a very convincing man when he wanted to be. He stepped forward, rounding the corner on the opposite side of the campus from the roof that which he had been standing on, coming around to the corner toward the door of the couples dorms, where he shared a room with the lovely Miss Hikari Yoshiida. He loved her enough that he hadn’t told her what he was or tried to make a deal with her, as well as he kept one of his knights watching her when she was not around; the cruel Abbadon with her fire red hair and emerald eyes that saw everything they needed to. Fine shoes on the stone pathway he walked pass students rushing to see what it was that had happened, several stepping out of his way at the last second because they knew he wasn’t going to move for them; he was high born, why should he have to move? He was armed of course, though most of the student body didn’t know that fancy little detail about him as he walked through them toward the dorm. He pushed the glass door aside with little effort and ascended the steps toward the floor that which their room was one. They had the penthouse suite at the top of the building, large and spacious with a wonderful view of the forest and lake on either side of the school. It took up most of the floor, though few wanted top floor rooms regardless, since those who did often settled closer to the top of the building tended to spend more time on the roof. Kain looked up the stairs and shrugged, the cameras flicking out for a moment as he teleported to the last landing of the case and walked up to his and Hikari’s rooms. With a gentle knock on the door he let her know he was coming in to their shared dorm and followed his nose to the kitchen where he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck. “Hmm. . . I thought I smelled your cooking.” He murmured with closed eyes and a gentle hum that rumbled through his neck and chest, vibrating against her back where he was pressed against her. He wasn’t trapping her at all, in fact she had a full range of movements while she was cooking, though he was very insistent on at least standing there or touching her while she did. Her scent mixed with food was intoxicating as the drugs earlier, but not quite as relaxing. [@ThatWeirdChick]

Thalia Rayne

Gymnasium

With Charles Faust
The young woman had heard several others walk in while he was talking to her, lecturing her as if she was a child and it only angered her more he way he spoke to her. She had planned on just beating her anger out on the punching bag when she hit it hard enough that the worn leather split where her hand connected and smaller bags of sand poked from the whole. With a sigh she lifted her hand and brushed her bangs out of her face and turned away from the male, heading toward the supply closet to find something to packed it with for now; shaking her hand on the way to work the pain out of it as well. Thalia rolled her shoulders, the left sliding out of socket while she did so though it slid back in without a problem as well while she walked past several students talking about forming a band. “Idiots.” She had never enjoyed company, though with amount of people inside the room was beginning to wear on her heavily and when she found what she was looking for – duct tape, pen and a piece of paper – she walked right back to where Charles was with his punching bag and her own. “I’m leaving before I kill someone.” Thalia didn’t look at him as she spoke, but she’d seen that single hit before she’d gone off in the first place and had to admit she was a little impressed by it – but only marginally. “Do that again.” The young woman had reached up and tore a strip of tap off the roll, sticking the grey against the deep red of the inanimate opponent, pulling the split closed and holding it there with the tape, crossing the strips until the tear was covered and closed completely. With the page and pen she taped a note to it that said who’d broken it this time even though it was rarely anyone but her that tore them just by beating on them. With a flick of her wrist she pulled a knife from beneath her shorts and showed the male for a moment before sliding it back in; [coor=slategray]“I’m fine.” What she didn’t understand though, was why she hadn’t simply ignored him, or stabbed him yet though it did look as if he would prove some advantage to associate with, even if it was just a short time to learn a few things before she went off to her next fight and was gone for another week. Maybe this would keep her from having to stitch another wound herself next time. “Are you coming with?” The entire time, Thalia hadn’t looked at him directly, instead focusing on how her hands moved and adjusting the wrapping around her hands, covering the bruising that had started to show itself again. She was an adrenaline junkie with a death wish and a taste for pain and destruction, a little bit of her own pain would never bother her, not even if it was enough to make a normal person stop fighting. That drive was the reason why she had always won and beaten the odds so often. [@KaiserAuto]

Roza Viguard

Café

With Tetsu Akakuro
The woman listened as he spoke, sitting across from her and she glanced off toward where another girl had come in and the one he was speaking with was getting ready to leave because of the incident, almost tempted to tell the man that he was the girls pending match and that she was older than she looked but didn’t, simply because he had given her an offer she quite enjoyed. “I would like that.” Roza turned her gaze back to the man and smiled, her golden eyes finding his as she finished off her drink and stood, leaving enough for it on the table and a decent enough tip. She was always careful to tip at places like this, as she knew that they pretty much lived off of their tips and had worked as a waitress once when she was under cover in Europe. Lifting her bag off of the floor she hefted it over her shoulder and fixed her hair that she could, the curls hanging around her and piled in the hood of her sweater as she waved toward the waitress behind the counter. It wasn’t often that the young woman smiles genuinely or helped someone else without gain and today it seemed as if she was in a generous mood, though she was known for quickly turning sour when agitated or annoyed. Being the agent that she was, taken away almost ten years ago as a criminal and child prodigy to work for a man who wanted her talents; the lightning storm only awakening her innate abilities after he had taken her and making others crave her even more. She changed her face and name for this and when she had been trained, she hadn’t left the compound for years, not until their field agent died and her abilities grew again to being able to remotely access any system she could hear or see and then they’d made her go out with Amber; here. “Can we stop by my dorm first? I need to shower and pick up some stuff.” [@MThePathSeeker]

Serraphina Hunt

Forest
The leaves of the tree rustled in the wind, bows bending near the top though near the middle of the trunk, almost twenty feet off the ground, and a girl sat on a branch with her back against the trunk. Her silver hair hung around her in a waterfall of brilliant silver-white, reflecting the dappled sunlight that filtered through the thick canopy of leaves around her. Her chest rose and fell softly and slowly, her eyes closed in her slumber. Serra hadn’t slept the night before and instead spending her time hunting with the wolves the night before, befriending the pack here as she had the one back home. She was one of few shifters in the area, though only two of which were wolves were her and the man that which she was engaged to. He had moved here from her home town not long ago, coming to ask the girl to live with her though she wouldn’t leave the province until she was finished her schooling either. The girl shifted in her sleep, on hand resting on her stomach and another falling to her side to hang off of the edge of the branch. She was dressed in light clothing, a soft plaid black and white skirt that fell to her knees, her shirt a grey long sleeve pulled over her torso. White socks were pulled all the way up to her knees and her black shoes sat on the forest floor at the bottom of the tree. Around her neck hung a silver chain, the pendant hidden inside of her shirt.
