Miff's eyes widened at Cinia's generous offer. "Sure I can help out around a farm, it can't be too tough. And thanks so much for providing shelter for me." he said with a big grin on his face. He then turned towards Leith but before he could answer her question Linia answered it first. It was too bad really because he had his hopes of letting others know that he had paid attention to 'street signs', he thought they were called. He then heard Leith say something else and he was curious to learn more. "What dimension has ships?" He asked quizzically. -------------- Bobby Slik had only spent two days in Davenport, having gone through a portal to get there. But he had already landed a job as a shoe salesman in his human form at the downtown part of the city. And he was loving this job. Overall he could answer most questions customers asked but there was one customer who just wanted answers and then some more. This customer was a young girl maybe about twelve years old and she wanted to buy a pair of blue running shoes. So she brought the shoes over to where Bobby was stalking the shelf, asking him, "Where are these made?" Bobby knew they came from a factory and that was his reply, "A factory." The questions continued. "Why?" "Because, it is easier for workers to make shoe's there." "Why?" "Because, they have materials to make it there." "Why?" At this point his eyebrows lowered and he said, "They just do." The girl was stunned at his reply and miraculously, only said ok, instead of the dreaded why question. Two long hours later, Bobby quickly headed out of the store having let the manager know he done his work and rounded the corner home. He headed into an alleyway and made sure no one was around him as he changed into his slime form. Then he tried walking some more. It was like taking baby steps, because he was trying to put the lower end of his slime body totally into two shoes, and lift them and drop them, like a person walking and it was very difficult. But he liked a challenge and so he kept at it. ----------- Clark was busy drinking at a noisy Tavern, on the outskirts of Davenport. This particular Tavern had a couple dancers on tables and a musician playing a harp on the stage at the far side of the room. Unfortunately though he couldn't enjoy the music or watch the dancing because he was here on business. At his table there were two figures in cloaks and that was all he could really tell about them. But he had heard the rumors about them, it was said that these two had enough power between them to slay demons by barely lifting a finger. And so Clark listened to them attentively. About ten minutes later Clark had his mission, it was simple, get rid of the threat(s) at the hotel.
