Any reason it couldn't be a flashback to the previous night? I just don't want to start jumping ahead while people are still doing stuff in the present- I allowed that once as a GM and it ended up killing the RP.

No one knows for sure. It's been the subject of a lot of debate.

I'm going to make myself a martini and try to get up another post here. Hopefully we can finish up the combat soon and give you guys a chance to do some character development or mystery solving.
