Pearl continued to fire until Ifrit moved into the sky in his fire form. Losing sight of their target, the LADs moved back to Pearl and the soldiers, who switched target to the dragon that was approaching. "Shit, is that a real dragon?" One of the Xeaforge personnel asked, as he let off some shots. Out of the corner of her eye, Pearl saw Mama Bear dodge something- And straight toward Pearl and her forces. This meant that though the bullet hit Mama Bear, the twin efforts of the dragon's fire and Ifrit's fire hit both her and Mama. The impact itself was enough to send her to the ground, and while the other humans used their LTPs to escape the fire quickly, the four drones melted extremely quickly. Thankfully, Pearl's armour held up against the flames, however inside she felt very hot. "ANAI, overflux, now!" She shouts. Of course, with the jetpack offline to conserve energy, it took several seconds to get it online, all the while, Pearl was moaning in pain from the heat, feeling her left arm being burned slightly as the armour struggled to hold back the heat. Suddenly, there was a cracking sound, and Pearl shot out of the flames at full speed, impacting on a nearby wall before her pack could her slow down. "Warning! Warning!" ANAI cried out. "Suit power overload! Disabling systems. Warning! Warning! Suit overheat! Requesting Essence-Crystal ejection." ANAI's words made Pearl think. The suit was extremely hot, but was rapidly cooling, however disabling her only weapon by removing the artifact inside would make the progress a whole load faster. "Denied." She says. There were too many people around, and she couldn't risk someone else getting hold of the weapon. "Keep the overhead view online, but keep most systems offline to power up faster." She says. In the overhead camera, she could see the Xeaforge security moving into position around her, keeping her still, injured form protected. However, seeing that they were very heavily outnumbered, they didn't fire. Even Pearl knew that they wanted to surrender, and she agreed with them. "ANAI, announce our surrender. We shouldn't have helped the criminal." Pearl says sadly. "Attention, attention. We surrender. Repeat, we surrender." ANAI declares through the exterior speakers, in a loud voice. The Xeaforge Security forces keep their guns raised but not firing, scanning for immediate threats such as the National Guard. Two mean had their rifles trained roughly in the direction of the blue man, who looked like he lifted cars instead of weights. Faint mumbling could be heard from the soldiers as they communicated under their helmets, through their radios. "Arron suggests getting out of here. The national guard don't look very friendly. Paul agrees and claims that they wouldn't follow them into Xeaforge. He'd heard people make up rumours that we have defensive systems that can keep out the entire city of Washington DC." Pearl chuckles, and figured that she'd need to thank the team later. "I agree. Get a MK1 ready, just in case anyone follows when we head back." Pearl says, laying still. It felt kind of nice, being surrounded by men trying to protect her, and just laying there.
