Mary-Jo - A Mean Swing With: Victor, Circin, Augusta, Mandy, June and Company Amicably resting the metal baseball bat upon her shoulder, Mary-Jo looked up with aspirational hope that soon revealed itself to be quite fruitless. With rejection came a defeated slump of her shoulders. Pitiful, big blue eyes looked woefully up towards the group that looked down upon her over the edge of the Grocery Store's rooftop. "Fine fiiiiine, if that's yer choice I won' say nuthin' about it." The former Wal-Mart cashier quietly replied, respecting what was obviously their wish for more subtlety and silence. "I'll be out y'all's hair once I grab a bite to eat from the market, sorry bout' causin' y'all any distress." Slinging her bat into the Golf Bag she used as a makeshift quiver about her hip, she sauntered casually into the Grocery Store with the hint of a smile. Going shopping had always been fun for her, now in the days since the Rapture as she so called it, everything was free. However, worldly possessions weren't the way of the Lord. Perhaps she shouldn't take so much joy in such things. Then again, she didn't really ever have much in the way of worldly possessions as they called it, and this blasted Rapture had taken what little she had ever held to begin with. Stealing a box of Rice Krispy Treats from one shelf, and a few canned foods that lay throughout in a sense of haphazard chaos that caused such things to be scattered about; Mary-Jo wove her way through the corridors to find feminine items and the like. Throwing her supplies into the hip satchel she wore, Mary-Jo was sure to step over the fetid corpse that had obviously been dealt with by those above. Striding towards the exit, she found herself at least bearing the hint of a smile. She had food, a snack, and other supplies finally, today was going to be a blessed day. She too needed to find some high ground and a place to sleep for the night that was going to draw in during the next couple of hours. Either that or sleep in the trunk of a car from time to time during the past couple nights. Tossing a glance up towards the edge where there was likely to be at least one more person keeping an eye out for her since they seemed the distrustful sort, Mary-Jo tipped her cowboy hat to whomever that might be. "Sorry again bout' causin' y'all so much trouble. Have a blessed day now." She added sweetly as she could before marching the long walk towards the edge of the forest to resume her road to redemption in the Lord's eyes once again.
