When Spence heard that he wondered if he maybe took too much of a chance with approaching these two. But he did what the man said hoping they would see that he was unarmed and not a threat. When he got closer to them he stood there for a second he noticed the kid didn’t seem to be as nervous about him as the man did. 

	[b]“I just heard voices, I assure you I mean no harm. My apartment just about got overrun this morning. Luckily I escaped with the underground garage that connects a few neighboring apartment buildings. I ran as fast and as far away as I could, so here I am.”[/b] He said hoping not to get shot.
