You need experience yet no one's willing to give you experience. I guess I can count myself lucky that my college has said they're committed to get its students jobs in their field then, I guess? Like I heard the president of the school come out in an interview and say that if we don't find work in our relevant field after so much time they'd refund us.
Most colleges offer a service like that. Mine did help me pretty up my resume, which was nice, but the rest was just a glorified job-hunting site. The issue now is that the few jobs available are in incredibly specific fields, and there isn't really a system in place to let people know where these jobs are before they go to college. What we have instead are the college's sales pitches. It certainly doesn't help that the number of educated people are increasing quicker than the number of jobs, or that automation is slowly chipping away at employment and everyone is looking the other direction because the implication of a post-employment economy scares people.
