I know the feeling. So many of them are just mindless copies of comics or each other. At least that one interest check I put up isn't even a super hero rp lol. I've got one that's all warriors and fighting mostly. 
The amount of zombie interest checks is why I didn't make one of my own lol. I popped in and it looked cool so that's what people should do :p
