Crunch! That was the noise he wanted to hear. It wasn't bone, but it was something breaking. Kanitah had broken through his foe's armor, and even though his assault hadn't yielded as much of an impact as he would have liked, he was making ground. Kanitah's body flew facefirst to the ground, both of his arms still extended forwards. His fingers splayed out and he caught himself with both hands, letting his own weight go over. The strange alien grass tickling at his hands for a scarce moment as they touched the ground. This threw Kanitah into a backflip that put him in the air once again. With a bit of style, Kanitah shifted his weight so that he would spin around and be facing Fury once again. With a loud thud, Kanitah's feet slammed into the ground. A small wave of air pushing away from his legs as he landed, causing the grass to bow to its kiss. Honestly, he was kind of proud of himself. "Fury, I don't know why you do what you do. In the end I suppose I don't care. But what I do know, is that I've been holding back on you this whole time. And you've been holding back on me." A smug grin crossed the older man's face, his beard bending with the curvature of his cheeks. "So, let's stop dancing about and get to real fighting, Fury!" Kanitah threw his entire weight into shifting his posture, lifting his right leg upwards and rotating his body with it. Slamming his foot into the ground, putting himself in a squared martial stance, lifting both hands up to face level and pointing them towards the Fireen. "Because this time around, I'm going to show you what a real fighter can do!" Kanitah knows that he has to fight without restraint, to have to set aside his own want and need to try and help Fury. Kanitah knows full well that the idea of beating the evil out of Fury won't work, even though he wishes sincerely that were how it worked. Kanitah has to beat the courage out of Fury, he has to beat the senses out of Fury. The Hero of Pundambaya has to beat Fury so resoundingly that he is too scared to ever harm someone else.
