Alexander calmly packed up his stuff after class ended and walked out the door, about to head home. Not even five seconds later did he hear an all too familiar voice greet him, "AAAAALEEEEEEEEX!!!!" Alexander sighed and turned around to see his childhood friend and junior, Megumi, running towards him. Alexander sighed as he put his fingertips on his forehead and said, "Megumi, I really wish you would stop doing that." "Doing what?" Megumi asked mischievously, fully aware of what Alexander meant, since they had been at this for a long time. Instead of answering, however, Alexander asked, "Why are you here?" Megumi grinned at that. "Well," she started. "Today's gonna be the day I beat you!" Alexander felt his mouth moving to form a grin of his own, but he suppressed it. "Losing three times in a row isn't enough for you?" Alexander asked. "Shut up, you were just lucky!" She retorted. "Now, let's go find a place to Duel!" Megumi then ran off, with Alexander sighing, then he raised his voice to say, "Wait up!" as he ran after her. As he followed the path Megumi took, he saw Megumi looking around a corner. He caught up to her and asked, "What are you-" only to get interrupted with a "Shhh, they're going to Duel." Alexander, curious, looked around the corner as well to see what was going on. Turned out it was the Ice King and a girl who introduced herself as Hiragi Vera. "This again?" Alexander asked. "You know he'll probably win." "Yeah, but Duels are still fun to watch," Megumi replied. "That's debatable," Alexander muttered, planning to watch this anyway since it didn't seem like he would be able to change Megumi's mind.
