David grinned and was about to respond when another boy walked up to them. He frowned deeply as he heard him speak. He didn't like the way he worded his sentence; it was as if he was saying that if you weren't friends you were enemies. His frown grew deeper still the more he talked. He sounded desperate but at the same time threatening. He wondered about his history with Devon. "Er, listen, not to offend or anything, but you should probably drop it for now," said David. "I don't think Devon feels like speaking with you just yet . . . and in all honesty you really ought to choose your words carefully. You didn't sound too friendly there."
