The Dragonfly

"It really doesn't make any sense." Henry said simply. Why break the law and get in shit when the same amount of food was about to be offered to you for free? Why run the risk when the reward was the same either way. Henry simply shrugged to her ploy. Her immaturity, backwards thinking, and lack of any and all self control made him wonder why she had been entrusted to teach anyone. She was more than likely worse than the students. Her intelligence didn't make up for it either. If her reasoning was anything to go by- she really wasn't that smart. "Well, I could do one of two things, taze you and carry you out, or I could do the easier option." Henry said, taking out his phone and aiming it at the woman before him. "I get blackmail, or you get reprimanded and maybe even fired. Depends on my mood and your record." he finished. He knew better than to unfold all the details of his master plan, but it was pretty easy to figure out if you had any intelligence. Record someone breaking the rules and then send it to the higher ups. You get thrown a bone, and the other person's gets the same or worse punishment and you don't even have to lift a finger. "Best part about society these days is, I don't have to lift a finger to stop you. All I have to do is send a single email with an attachment." he said simply. There was a flash, then he put his phone back into his pocket. He gave her a shit eating grin and turned around to leave. "I'd say it was nice to finally meet you- but it really wasn't. If you wish to amend that- it's hard to miss me. As of now, you are a small and immature child who has, for some reason, been trusted to teach and be an example to our next generation. Please, prove me wrong and make an adult of yourself. There will be children watching." He'd send the email later. Now was the time to enjoy the night and meet some students, perhaps a few of the new teachers and potential Elites. He straightened his collar and tightened his tie before walking out of the room and back into the kitchen and then into the cafeteria.
