All you have are females?

Am I the ONLY Matriarchal society with a healthy, somewhat numerous population of males? I mean, really? ASTA's cat people, the Faira and now Inkwell have a significant lack of boys on side. Not only do I have 40% males (A damn sight higher than most of my contemporaries) but my leader is male! Yeesh!
