I like the [i]Fallout[/i] series, and I think this latest chapter will prove to be half-decent at least, but no franchise is worth 'freaking out' over. Being in calm anticipation for a new installment, sure, but not 'freaking out'. Know why?

Because, however unlikely it may seem, just maybe... it might be shit. This inevitably results in those who 'freaked out' over it wallowing in a pit of anger and despair. And even if it isn't shit, even if it's good, I've yet to see an extremely hyped-up game in recent years that actually lives up to said hype. High expectation risks breeding even higher disappointment.
