Aya had to stop herself from sighing in relief when it seemed like everyone actually managed to calm down. There were still some tensions but honestly she'd expected everyone to be at each other's throats by now. She flinched when she heard some sort of demented roar echoing down the hall. Camille spoke up and Aya paused when she saw how the smaller girl's eyes lit up. She raised an eyebrow, immediately distrustful of anything Camille thought was a good idea. On instinct, she snapped to the astral plane, eyes widening at what she saw. Tentacles. Thick, white, and probing, coming from the direction of that inhuman screeching. Memories jumped back to her, both her own and Sebastian's, from that day that seemed so long ago. The day the Reformists all but fell. She jumped back to her body. "Oh hell no," she said, unable to stop herself. "We are not going towards that thing. That mindless freak leveled the Reformist base like it was nothing! And no one can control it but Isabella, and it sounds pissed." Aya didn't like the idea of going up against anything that couldn't be reasoned with. Or maybe it was just anything she couldn't talk herself around. "We head that way, we'll be lucky if it doesn't kill us, or even blow a hole in the side of the ship." Aya scrunched her eyebrows together and ran a hand through her hair. "We do need to keep moving though… Why don't we go and look for the control room? Ships have that, yeah? If you're right and a bunch of the aliens are gonna head towards that sound, then we can just let your Boogeyman take care of them. I don't think we wanna get involved in that crossfire."
