Red laughs nervously at the sound of another gun being pulled up. This could lead to his accidental death or the saving of his life, all depending on the quick twitch and anxiousness of the man who had practically taken him hostage. The voice of his savior was not what he expected, but familiar. It was normally kind and generous but now sounded intimidating and scary now. 
"S-sammy?" He shouted in surprised manor. He had never heard her this serious. Occasionally she had gone off on a bar goer who was just a little too bold and just as drunk, but never a powerful as this. Turning around slowly with his arms up, red smiled weakly to her, the crude picture of him floating to the ground next to him. "Mind helping me here buddy? They think I'm some hooligan that's worth money! Tell them just how worthless I am! Just this once it'll be my saving grace and not a downer on my self esteem" He pleaded, rushing to her feet and clinging to her leg that was padded by her dress. All of this seemed over the top and rather sad he'd stoop to this level, but it was clear he wasn't faking this.
"Come on, you know I ain't no killer, I couldn't hurt a fly, look at my scrawny arms! Sammy, please, my life's on the line"

Kilean Was ready to smash the back of red's head with his weapon before the click of a weapon a cocked pistol loading itself was presented behind him. Clearly this person didn't care who died. If he moved out of the way, red would be slaughtered, or the bullet would go through him. Still, he wasn't about to try his luck just yet, he needed red alive for this mission. It wasn't until he heard the voice of a woman and was reminded that sammy was behind him. 
"Odd that a woman would have a gun, but the question is.... can you-" He began but was interrupted by Red's hollering. 
Watching the young man plead for her to save him was rather embarrassing. This was what he came after? It didn't seem like the monstrosity he desired to hire for his skills in battle. Despite he kept watching before laughing loudly.
"come on kid, if you're this low, maybe I actually will cap you and take the reward."
