Fury’s shielding protected him from the mud on approach as he moved in and circled, striking with his right leg towards his opponent’s left knee. Only a sloppy or amateur low-kick can be easily caught, and Fury’s was neither of those things. With his super-natural strength and energy augmented speed there was no chance that his opponent was going to be able to nonchalantly crouch down and catch his kick with his hands, especially considering the time he had to react to the kick, the first Fury had launched. He would be lucky to escape without broken fingers as Fury’s shin impacted the reaching hands and most likely slammed into the outside of his knee for good measure. Fury wondered why Kanitah, presuming he had sufficient time to react considering his actions, didn’t just check his kick with his leg, but it was too late to correct that mistake now and he would have to pay the price.
