[@Genni] Thanks for the input. To answer your question, I was thinking that we'd start in a small, relatively crappy dungeon. A cave or something. Then maybe conquer a castle, and take up residence there. Then maybe a town, then a city, and so on... As this went on, certain people that prove their loyalty might be given subordinates or even armies to command. With that added responsibility might come shiny treasure, a little dungeon of their own, or whatever else would motivate that particular character. On the other hand, those that fail the Dungeon Keeper repeatedly might get punished by demotions or short stays in the jail/torture pit. Of course, all of that is subject to change but I'm pretty sure we'll have something like that as a reward system and change of scenery/visible progression as the RP goes on.
