[Nico & Jace] By the time Nico and Jace got to the gym, the monsters were retreating into the seals and the seals were disappearing. “Well....that is interesting....” Jace mentioned, noting the change in the area. “Yes, but I’m not sure how the monsters were...defeated...or maybe it all has to do with the island...” Nico said, voicing his suspicion that the island has some sort of role in the school. “Maybe...” Jace agreed. “We should get to the dorms, un pack and try to sort out eveything that happened” “Yea...I don’t think we should test that theory this early...” Nico agreed. I wonder who I’m stuck with as a roommate. Jace wondered, pulling out his envelope. Jace opened the envelope and pulled out piece of paper and read it to himself. Dormitory building: A Room: 314 Room type: Double Roommate: Nicolas Bolivar “Hey...Nico, open your envelope and read the paper inside it...”Jace said, deep in thought. Nico opened his envelope and read it. Dormitory building: A Room: 314 Room type: Double Roommate:Jacen Baker “Well...that is very interesting....” Nico said. “Well...at least we don’t have to worry about Gideon.” “Is that the guy with the word bind?” Jace asked, pondering the events of the day. “Yep, an arrogant idiot who didn’t even check to see if anyone was lying about what their word was.” Nico said, disgusted at Gideon’s slip up. “Well, for now lets get to the dorms and unpack, we’re going to have to dig in for a really long year.” Jace said. “Yea....” Nico said. It’s going to be a long year, and I have a feeling it’s going to have a long cold war to go with it. As the pair made their way to the dorm, they both made a mental map of what they had seen of the school. By the time they reached the dorm, they felt that they had a decent understanding of the layout and entered the dorm itself. Jace noticed a receptionist in the lobby and guards near the stairs up. “We should check in, just in case there are adjustments to the rooms based on who died.” Jace said eyeing the guards. “Eh, checking in yes, change room assignments, not until they have an accurate assessment of who died over the last half hour or so.” Nico commented. Nico and Jace approached the receptionist. “Hello, I need you names.” the receptionist said cooly. “Jace Baker.” Jace said calmly. “Nicolas Bolivar.” Nico said with slight disinterest. “Room numbers?” the receptionist said, writing on a piece of paper. “We’re both in room 314.” Jace said. “Third floor, your luggage should be in there.” the receptionist said, glancing up at Jace .“Oh and there is no wifi anywhere in the school.” Well...that could prove an issue...kinda... Jace thought, pondering a work around. How do they not have wi-fi, what is this....the 90’s? Nico thought, disgusted at the lack of internet access. “You both need to sign a room contract.” the receptionist continued after a moment. Both Nico and Jace filled out and signed the contract and handed it back to the receptionist. “If either one of you have any issue with your room assignment, come see me.” the receptionist said, taking the forms from them. “Good to know.” Nico said. Nico and Jace made their way up to the third floor and opened the door to the room. It was a decent sized room with a tv on the side with the door, a bathroom and closet space on the left wall, beds up against the far wall and a window to the right. The suitcases and other bags and such were divided out onto the beds according to who owned them. Nico and Jace immediately went through their bags to see if everything was there, which thankfully it all was. “Well, my laptop is here, but no wi-fi....must be a way to isolate everything that goes on here...” Jace said, pondering how he would work with that info. “Well, everything I brought with me is here.” Nico said, content that his collection of cards was not damaged, or even bent from the search that must have gone through them. “Well, if no one moves into either dorm room next to us, we each could have a room to ourselves.” Jace said. “And possibly increase the chance of Gideon moving in with one of us...” Nico said, a hint of warning in his voice. “Point, very good point.” Jace conceded. “Well, we might as well unpack and relax...no point in losing sleep on the first day, just sleep lightly in case someone or...something jumps us in the night.” Nico said eyeing the window suspiciously.
