Aya's first instinct was to flinch away from Owlman as he came up to her, talons reaching and a series of agitated hoots escaping him. But she managed to stop herself as understanding passed through her. He wasn't angry – not at her, at least. He was distressed. Confused. Aya scrunched her eyebrows together and gave a small shake of her head. "I'm sorry, I don't…" she trailed off. She had no idea what he was trying to tell her. Sure, this was a stressful situation, but Owlman hadn't been like this just moments ago. What had set him off? Aya went through the scene in her head again. Her eyes widened then as realization suddenly struck her. He doesn't know about the Reformists. About Cedric. That was right… Owlman had been unconscious when the base fell. He'd gone down after her – after Sebastian's attack. A giggle very nearly spilled out of Aya at the thought. Hah. The poor sap. Aya brought the heel of her hand up to her forehead and massaged, gritting her teeth together and squeezing her eyes shut. She opened them again and looked up at Owlman with new understanding. "It'll… it'll be ok, alright? Everything'll be ok." She had no right to promise that, but this really wasn't the time to drop potentially earth-shattering news on Owlman. "We'll sort everything out when we get off this ship, I promise. But right now we have to move." Aya hesitated a moment before slowly curling her fingers into a loose grip around the base of Owlman's hand and giving a slight tug towards the door. "Please." With that, she followed after Light.
