[color=cccccc][b]Brief History:[/b][/color][indent][hider=History]When an asteropid of a previously unknown material fell to Earth Arthur thought his time to shine was dawning, and he could never have guessed how right he was, but in the worst possible way. As the first qualified specialist on-site, Arthur was also the first human to closely examine the meteorite, and the first to learn its terrible secret, that it was alive.

Leaping up onto him, still superheated by its entry through the atmosphere, the metal skin quickly burnt away Arthur's epidermus, scolding him skin from his body and leaving him scrieking in pain. Unable to help in any way his colleagues could only load Arthur into an ambulance and transport him to the bext medical facility available, but knowing nothing about the strange material attached to their friend all they could do was wait. After several days unconscious Arthur finally awoke, but his body had been fundamentally changed by the alien mineral, which had bonded with his nervous system and integrated with every cell in his body.

Learning to control the skin through a system of trial and error, Arthur came to understand it a little more, but still so many questions remain. With his enhanced strength and durability Arthur soon came under the watchful gaze of the military, and in order to protect himself from unending tests and assessments he quickly arrange to join the new international superhero community, using his new-found fame as protection from his own government.[/hider][/indent]
