Both Megumi and Alexander left the crowd after all the excitement died down. "Hey Megumi," Alexander said. "Hmm?" Megumi turned to look at Alexander with a curious expression. "What is it?" "Didn't you say you were going to beat me in a Duel?" Alexander asked. Megumi then stopped in her tracks, wide-eyed, and exclaimed, "Oh yeah, that reminds me! There's a tournament at a nearby card shop! The winner gets a rare card!" "What's the card?" Alexander asked. "No one knows yet," Megumi answered. "But I'm sure it'll be a great card! Let's go!" With that, she ran off towards the card shop, wherever that may be. Alexander merely sighed and followed her. When they arrived, they immediately noticed that they weren't the first ones to appear on the scene. "Well, I'm going to enter this tournament," Megumi stated. "What about you?" "Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to join in," Alexander said, scratching the back of his head. "It might help me figure out what I need to do to edit my deck should things go wrong." "That's the spirit," Megumi said, grinning. "I'll beat you this time for sure." "You know, you were never this confident in our other Duels," Alexander said. If he remembered correctly, she used a Horus deck. While it proved to be a major problem to his deck, it wasn't unbeatable. "What are you hiding?" "That's a secret," Megumi said, not revealing anything. "You'll figure it out as we go." With that, she chose not to reveal anything else, and they both went up to the shopkeeper to get registered for the tournament.
