[b]Kokatsu is a tall individual, standing at around 6'1 with a lithe frame of compact muscle and scars from his many years as a shinobi. His Medium length black hair tied is usually tied into a short Ponytail that barely reaches past his shoulders. The rest of his hair is usually kept in a constant stated of manageable disarray. His eyes are an intense gold, and his contract with the shadow demons have given them a more feral appearance, with the eyes tending to form slits whenever he his bloodlust gets up. The marks on the sides of his face are a tattoo traditionally given to the first born of any Tendou family, and a requirement for the first born son of any Clan Patriarch. An odd thing about kokatsu is that, even though he's approaching his thirties, he still has yet to look a day over his late teens. 

In his leisure time, Kokatsu wears a collarless black shirt and well-fitting pants, and whether or not he wears shoes depends on the weather, If it's hot, he'll wear sandals, if it's cold, he'll combat boots, and if the weather is in the glorious in between, he'll just go barefoot, enjoying the feeling of the ground beneath his feet. When he's expecting any kind of fight, his garment doesn't change that much. He'll always wear combat boots, these ones bearing steel toes to add a little something extra to his kicks. He'll also wear his basic combat gloves from his time as a jonin, possible his flak jacket if he's feeling particularly nostalgic, and his leaf head band(with the missing-nin slash though it) if he wishes to taunt his opponent.[/b][/center]

[i]Kokatsu is a psychopath and a sadist, reveling in the pain and suffering others to an unhealthy degree. He completely lacks any sense of morality, doing things because he wants to or because they interest him, an attitude that may lead him to assist those he finds interesting, if only so that he can have them himself for later. If he sets his sights on a prize, whether it be a person, an object, or a jutsus, then he will not rest until it's either his, or removed from existence if it can't be his. 

On the other hand, Kokatsu does seem to have a human side to him, and a rather . . . odd one at that. When he was a member of the Leaf, he would always act kind, humble, and respectable. Now that he's free from the constraints of his family, his true nature shows that while still kind and caring to those close to him, he's lacking in both manners and maturity. He lacks a sense of personal boundaries, is thrown into fits of depression when he's shunned or rejected by someone he cares about, and generally acts like a fool. Most who see him this way tend to think him as such, and that's part of the plan. While his lighter side isn't an act, it's something he uses to his advantage, often exaggerating his foolishness to make his enemies look down on him. 

His mental state is also in a constant stat of flux, as one moment he may be a sociable, witty, even kindhearted individual, and the next he can be attempting to skin you alive just to hear you scream, making him a very unpredictable individual. When it comes to those that serve under him, he'll treat most like trash, pawns that can be replaced on a whim, but when it comes to those he does genuinely care for, he will treat them with the outmost respect and kindness at best, and at the very least, he'll never actively try to kill you unless you force him to. And if he's ever betrayed by someone he cares about, there will be nowhere safe for them, nor anyone they are close to for as long as he lives. He will hunt them down and show them a fate worst than anything they can imagine, for they shall not be faced with the blessed embrace of death until he has fully deal with them.

【[U]History[/U]】
[i]Kokatsu was once thought to be one of the strongest ninja in Konohagakure and a powerful nominee for Hokage as well. He had the skill, the backing of a highly respected Family, a kind, knightly demeanor, and a silver tongue that was able to do battle with the best diplomats. It seemed that there was nothing that could stop him from claiming the spot one day, as he was even taken in as the Hokage's apprentice at one point. But behind this flawless facade was a man in desperate need of help, falling ever further into darkness by the day. Ever since he was young, he had been suffering from the conflict of his psychopathic tendencies and his kind nature, If he had been given proper medical help early on in life, things might have turned out differently, but sadly that isn't what happened. His father thought of him as a child in need not of help, but strict discipline. He would punish his son harshly when ever he found him doing anything that he felt would damage the Tendou family name. 

Soon enough, the behavior stopped, and his father thought that he had beaten the stubbornness of his son. In truth, he had only sealed the fate of his clan forever. Kokatsu developed a hatred for his clan and a majority of his immediate family members for never trying to help him. And throughout the majority of his life, he'd hold this hatred deep within himself, and as it festered, he began to slowly give into his inner darkness, at first just to spite his father, but over time he began to feel something liberating in his madness. It was this acceptance of himself that led to the awakening of his Clan's long dormant Kekkei Genkai, the Meiton. It occurred during a mission where a team of chunin ambushed his team and had taken out their Jonin captain, a person that Kokatsu had treasured dearly. The sight of their death was the straw that broke the camel's back, cause they were the only reason that he had kept any of their morality, and with them gone, all that was left was the pain and rage. 

The chunin team was shown no mercy, taken by surprises as a genin brat suddenly began to devour their jutsus, while cloaked in a terrifying veil of darkness. They were cut down before they could turn the battle around, their corpses barely recognizable as human remains after Kokatsu had finished with them. It was on that night that he earned his fearful monkier, bestowed upon him by his terrified teammates who could only watched as he stood in the center of a writhing mass of darkness, shadows, and death. The Leaf's Heart of Darkness.

In the years to follow that fateful mission, he committed numerous murders in order to sate his bloodlust, and never once did the city police force ever come close to catching him. He was known as the Datenshi Killer due to how he always branded a pair of wings onto the backs of his victims. He also began to experiment with his powers and research his Clan's past to find out the source of this power. After 4 years of study, he not only found out the truth of his clan, but of another hidden power they had sealed away once they lost the ability to control it.

At the age of 20, his father held a clan exclusive ceremony, a celebration for his son who was to take over as clan head. It was a night that would be known as the Tendou Massacre as Kokatsu took the clan's blade from his father and shoved it into his chest, making a single hand sign to activate the seals he had placed not only through out the compound, but through out the entirety of the Tendou-influenced section of the city. A wall of darkness separated the the affected area from the rest of the city, but anyone close by could here the screams of the dying as they resonated through the city. Anyone who tried to enter was forcefully rejected until about 30 minutes in, when the darkness dispersed and everyone could see the hell that was on the other side. 

Blood and gore was plastered on every building, both civilians and Shinobi were slain without mercy and in terrible ways. And Kokatsu was nowhere to be found. Many wondered why this had to happen, why such wholesale slaughter had to be committed. Many thought back to the tale of Itachi Uchiha and wondered if that may be the case here, others likened the event to be more in lines with someone like Orochimaru, a bid for power with a heavy human cost. But there was only one reason that this night happened, and that was because Kokatsu wanted it to happened, and he wasn't even sure what the ritual would have done when he put it in place. He just wanted to spite his father in the worst possible way, by dragging his precious legacy through the mud.[/i]

[i]Kokatsu held a deep seated hatred for his father, who never saw him as a son, only as another part of the Tendou legacy. He shared this hatred with a majority of his other clan memebers, as none of them raised a finger to stop his father during the times where he had been heavily abused early in his childhood. The only ones to survive the Tendou Massacre where his sisters, who he treasured for their companionship, and any Tendou children, since he felt no need to kill them for the sins of their parents. The only thing he truly fears, more than anything else, is that one day, someone will take away his freedom and lock him in a cell. To him, that is a fate worse than death, and he'd rather die then be contained for the rest of his life, like some caged animal.[/i][/indent]

[i]"Kokatsu is a highly skilled ninja, using not only his Kekkai Genkai, but also several other justus with flawless efficiency, truly deserving of his status as a prodigy in his academy days. He's decently skilled in Genjutsu(more focused in countering than using), Very skilled in Kenjutsu, Fuinjutsu, and Taijutsu, and excels when it comes to Ninjutsu techniques and creating variations of the, as can be seen with his signature move, the legendary Rasengan, which he was able to recreate himself after seeing it only a few times, though it took him a year to do so, an impressive feat none the less. He has also been known to use one handed seals, so as he can still use Ninjutsu while he fights with a weapon.

In combat, Kokatsu tends to play with those he deems to be weaker than himself, taking to injuring them and holding back his strength just enough so that they think they have a chance at beating him, before utterly annihilating them with a gleeful smile on his face. However, when facing a opponent of equal or greater skill, his true fighting style emerges, as he takes time to analyze their movements, starting the fights on the defensive by making generous use of his Kekkei Genkai, before he finds an exploit and launches a furious Ninjutsu assault, raining down pain on his enemies with savage delight. He tends to not use his signature weapon, the Eien no Yami, unless he really feels that his opponent deserves it.[/i][/indent]

[i]The Dark Release (or Meiton) is a specialised nature transformation kekkei genkai that can be used to absorb, manipulate, and release chakra taken from an opponent. The only other known user of this nature, Hirouko, used techniques of this nature through a mark on his left hand. This mark resembles two diamonds, one overlapping the other. Chakra is absorbed through the upper square, while it is released and manipulated through the lower. It is unknown what elements this nature entails. 

Unlike Hirouko, who stole his Kekkai Genkai through the use of the Chimera Technique, Kokatsu was born with this Kekkai Genkai(Which is probably why he has the double diamond mark on both of his hands instead of just one), and has found out that, along with the ability to take others chakra and use it against them, he can create solid constructs out of shadows and darkness that drain energy from the world around them.[/i]
[b][u]Strengths: This Kekkei Genkai allows the user to absorb the energy of ones foes and their attacks, making it a highly defensive Kekkei genkai, especially with the addition of the darkness manipulation.[/u][/b]
[b][u]Weaknesses:[/u][/b]
[i]His ability to absorb chakra is less effective, sometimes even useless, against certain types of Jutsu's(ex. Earth style and Genjutsu). He can only absorb one jutsu per hand, which means that if he's stuck absorbing two jutsus, than he'll be unable to absorb a third and would be unable to retaliate due to both of his hands being occupied. Also, while absorbing, he can't move from his current position.[/i]

【[U]Contracted Summon[/U]】
Hokatsu has gained the ability to summon Shadow Demons through the sacrifice of his clan, and while only the stronger ones can be used to combat enemies directly, the others can be used for a variety of uses. Shadow Demons can hide within darkness and shadows to spy on people and maintain a direct link with their summoner, even from far distances. In battle, they can fuse with their summoner's body to increase strength, speed, reaction time, and durability, free him from a genjutsu, or cleanse his body of poisons. After that, the demons will fade away, the strength of the effect depending on how many demons he absorbed, and he can't use this ability any more than 4 times in a row, as every time after that will have a high chance of violent rejection of the demons from his body. They can also be used to restrain opponents and make surprises sneak attacks from the shadows

The more combat focused demons work and fight just like other summons, sharing the ability to sink into shadows with that of their smaller counterparts. The Shadow Demons take on a form in response to the chakra provided, and for Kokatsu they take on the form of monstrous serpents made entirely out of shadows, but since they lack a proper form, they can at times shit that to fit the situation, able to form things like hands, feet, and even extra heads to launch surprise attacks on one’s enemies.

Akio now stands at around 5'10, her hair remaining just as long and white as before, though she has decided to dye the tips black, not feeling as much a need to separate herself from her heritage anymore. She's grown into her curves more, her body having a toned and sexy figure due to her still near constant and intense training. She no longer binds her breasts, instead going for wearing a sports bra most of the time, so her figure is more noticeable than before, having also grown with her, though not by much. 

Akio has gone from a concealing hoodie to wearing a hooded jacket nearly all the time, the front pen and revealing the usual graphic T-with long sleeves she wears underneath. The jacket tends to be black on most days, though she'll occasionally switch over to a navy blue for varieties sake. When not on a mission she wears slightly baggy jeans, still not completely giving that up and absolutely despising skinny jeans of any kind. In fact, Akio hates most forms of tight clothing in general, with the exception of underclothes like tank-tops and underwear, just not feeling comfortable with how the fabric seems to cling to her skin. She wears differing shoes depending on a whim, usually some mix of boots, sneakers, or converse. She owns not a single pair of high-heeled shoes, she tried them on one time and it was just a disaster. On a mission, she'll wear a modified version of the Konoha flak jacket that's black in color and has a hood on it, a black turtle neck with long sleeves, and the standard shinobi pants and sandals.

[i]Akio is a tactical distance fighter, though she's no slouch up close either, one can easily tell upon facing her that it isn't her preferred range. She has also proven to be rather tactical in combat as well, always keeping an eye out for an opportunity to take down her opponent quickly, and non-lethally if possible.

As well as being a tactical fighter, she's a very well of weapon's user, bearing exceptional eyesight and near pin-point accuracy and precision honed through years of constant, grueling training. The same could also be said with her Chakra control, which she has worked extremely hard to get as precise as can be, as well as mastering every jutsu she has ever learned until she can do it with as few hand seals as possible. She bears a vast amount of willpower, and has also built up quite a tolerance to pain from her strict training. She, who lacks natural skill, has trained her mind and body to the limits of what is possible, and then pushed them even farther. She has somewhat above average strength and endurance for a chunnin, but what is most impressive is her speed, agility, and dexterity, allowing her to dance around the battlefield with a honed sense of grace. Name: Katon: Phoenix Egg Bomb(Subject to change)

Description: After making the needed hand seals, Akio conjures up a concentrated inferno of blazing heat, focusing it over her palm. It'll take a post for this jutsu to charge up, but when it does the flames will take on a egg-like shape as Akio thrusts her hand out to launch it at her foes. Upon impact with the target, the egg will explode with a huge amount of force and intense white hot heat. The radius of the explosion would be somewhere between 5-10m, though the intense heat can be felt from much farther away, burning skin if an enemy is near the edge of the blast.

The explosion itself takes the form of a phoenix rising high into the sky. The flames that the explosion created will stay for about 2 posts, however, the heat lessening by a great deal until it finally fizzes out. Through training, Aoi has lessened the strain this technique causes her body enough so that she can still move afterwards, meaning she only has to take the one post to charge it. She can use this jutsu 3 times before the chakra drain becomes too much for her system.

Seiteki Suji no Jutsu (Static Strings Technique)

Description: This skill allows the user to create strings of electricity that can either act physically as strings, or as a medium that can send small shocks to an opponent. One of this technique's most useful features is its ability to allow the user to detect outsiders. When the strings are placed around an area, they are often fairly difficult to see, and unnoticed by the quick eye. But when the string is used to detect outsiders, they can adapt a quality that is string-like and electrical at the same time. This quality makes the static strings into a string of electricity, but with such a weak current that it is rarely noticed by Shinobi who accidentally walk through the strings. However, when this happens, the user at once will feel a small shock in their fingers, or where ever else they are keeping the strings intact. But unless the opponent felt the weak current as they walked through the strings, the opponent will usually never know the strings were there. But beyond its ability to detect outsiders, this skill can be used as a normal string when it is needed but none is around, or it can be used to create small shocks to other people. However, the shocks are only a little bit stronger than static electricity, and usually do no damage at all.

Decription: Aiko forms a bow out of lightning chakra, from which she can draw back and fire bolts of electricity from, the amount of power dealt depending on how long she holds it for. A quick draw only does a low-medium amount of damage and has no lingering effects. A Charged shot, which takes about 1 post to form up, does a fair deal more damage and will leave the target temporarily stunned if direct contact is made. The charged shot can also be split into four homing shots, which'll lock onto the opponents chakra signature. These only do slightly more damage than a quick shot on their own, but if all three hit the same target, then the damage can be even greater than a charged shot and can explode out to damage foes within a meter of the target.

Akio can now fire a detonation shot with a charged up bolt, which is less powerful overall, but can paralyze a whole group of individual for a few moments. She can also create a piercing shot, which has more focused electrical energy for more power and damage, but has reduced ranged as well, only being able to go about half as far as a normal charged shot. The piercing shot can pierce through most standards armors and defensive jutsu of equal rank or lower. 

Static strings can be attached to the quick fire shots, so that if they hit, the user can hold the foe in place by running a constant stream of electricity through it, locking heir muscles in place. If this is done, neither Akio nor the target can move so it's not a good move for one on one, but good for lining up holding an enemy in place for another teammate to take down.

Description: An extremely useful jutsu, this one has the effect of flushing out or separating multiple opponents. Hurling a fireball about the size of a basketball, it is meant to be dodged in order to be effective. For at center of this fireball is a gaseous core which, when the spherical attack finally makes contact with something, will explode and this gas will expand rapidly in a loud bang. The bang is simply a precursor though, as instantly afterwards a sharp concussive force will issue out all around the center of the blast. Though the explosion of the attack itself is not very strong, the force it sends out is enough to knock anyone who is within a certain radius of it flying.

[i]Aiko used to be a very active and sociable girl, if not very open to forming meaningful bonds with people outside of her family, and she used to suffer from a severe lack of self-confidence due to her father's harsh critique of her apparent lack of natural talent that the Tendou clan is supposed to be known for. However, everything changed after the Night of the Tendou Massacre, which would irrevocably change her, yet it's yet to be seen if it was for better or worse.

She is now rather withdrawn, becoming highly agitated and nervous when ever she surrounded by a group of people. If she finds herself suddenly surrounded, she tends to panic and tries to flee the scene as fast as possible. She also talks much less, speaking in short, sentences whenever possible, and usually hides her face underneath her trademark hoodie. However, due to her finally becoming a chunin, she is making an effort to get over these habits, though it's slow going at the moment. 

However, her lack of social skills is more than made up for when it comes to what she has gained from that night. Where before she felt like there was nothing she could do right no matter how hard she tried, she now feels a determination to do anything and everything she possibly can, no matter how difficult or numerous the obstacles in her way are. This determination can quickly turn into stubbornness if she doesn't agree with the way something is done, leading to her sometimes being very argumentative at times with both her comrades and team leaders. Another thing that she has gained a tolerance to scenes of intense violence and horror, as she's seen horrible, indescribable things done to her family by her very own brother. After an event like that, there are few things that can top it. She has an edge and is able to kill without hesitation, but only when she feels it's necessary, otherwise she'll go for a non-lethal take down instead.

Edit: Due to Aoi's influence, Akio has learned to become more open and friendly to people, though she's still a bit of an introvert as well, preferring her company or Aoi's to that of meeting new people. Speaking of Aoi, she's actually rather protective and defensive about the harlequin, seeing an insult against her as an insult against them both. While she doesn't go to far with it, she is always ready to jump on someone who genuinely insults her clown in front of her. To do that is to find out how painful electrocution truly is, as she's always glad to give some first hand experience.

【[U]History[/U]】
[i]Before the massacre, her life wasn't really that grate as her father saw her as nothing as a mistake and an embarrassment for two reasons. The first is that she was a bastard child, a mark of shame on his honor as the Tendou family patriarch, though it was that same honor that duty bound him to take the child in, as her mother had died during childbirth. The second reason was that she was never good enough, and while she wasn't the most skilled of individuals, she was still rather good, some would say better than most. 

But it was never enough for Akira Tendou, he demanded perfection, and severely punished those who did not meet his requirements. And as she hardly ever did, she was often met with scorn from her father, who never once acknowledged her as his daughter. And while that should've devastated her, she didn't find herself minding too much. She never once considered Akira Tendou as her father in the sense that he was a man to come to with her woes, worries, and needs, as that regard went to her older brother, Kokatsu. Ever since she came into their home, Kokatsu was extremely protective of her, getting into several fights with Akira and most of them ending in some sort of violence. Since she was young, she never got to see Kokatsu darker side, and she believes that he wanted to keep it that way as he made extreme efforts to avoid telling her about his job in any specific detail. He also expressed some sorrow when it became apparent that she was going to be joining the Shinobi forces, though never actively spoke out against it, unlike her father who was certain that she'd never pass and if she did, never make it pass a lowly genin.

If things had continued as normal, then he may have been right, for even she had begun to doubt her self and her reasons for becoming a ninja, of whether she was ready for the life they lived. But instead, soon after her seventh birthday, all hell broke loose. A ceremony was held, as Akira had decided to pass on his position as Clan Patriarch to his son, claiming he had never been prouder for him. Kokatsu took the Tendou blade(an artifact past down from Patriarch to Patriarch since before the elemental nations were even concieved) and, with a smile as bright as the sun, slew his father where he stood, dropping the weapon to perform a quick string of handsigns before slamming his fingers into the fresh corpse.

An eerie red light rose from the ground around him, and it was until many months after the event that she would hear that at the time, seals popped up all throughout the city. And so it was that Kokatsu opened a portal between this world and a world of darkness to unleash death upon all who lived within it. Only a single order was given, spare the children of the Tendou clan, they had done no wrong. And so it was that behind a veil of darkness, hundreds if not thousands died horrid, painful deaths, all the while a menacing laugh would echo through out it all. When the barrier fell and the demons fled, Kokatsu held out his hand for Akio to grab, only for her to flinch away, looking at her blood trenched sibling in horror.

Akio couldn't remember a time where her brother had looked more hurt then at that time, and yet she also couldn't remember a time where he seemed more relieved. He offered no pressure or force, just left without a word, and leaving her alone in a nightmare of blood, death, and sorrow. After the event, the Tendou children were taken in and eventually handed over to adoptive parents to raise them. Of those children, four would go insane from the trauma of what they witnessed as they grew up, one even committing suicide after slaughtering his adoptive parents. Tendou children where treated with a mix of pity, fear, and for Akio, hatred. 

Given how closely related she was to Kokatsu, there were people, kids especially, who would take out their grief of lost loved ones out on her. This made it hard for her to trust and approach people, and also made it so she hated her features that so easily gave her away. But in the midst of these hardships, an ember began to burn bright with newly discovered passion. She developed a burning drive to train herself, to become as strong as possible. She was able to pass the academy with only minor difficulties, and did her best in her genin missions no matter what the they were. However, in the early years of her life, this passion nearly consumed her, as she withdrew from everyone, constantly running herself into the ground, and then some, for a reason that she wasn't even sure of. In actuality, she felt partially to blame for what happened to Kokatsu, thinking in her subconscious mind that if she had somehow been there for him more, it could've been avoided.

As life went on, however, she found herself to be taken unde the wing of Tsukiko Umene. The older jonin would drop by from time to time to check up on her, and if she felt it necessary, beat her in to shape. While at first Akio resented the woman, she eventually began to grow more attached to her as time went on, to the point where she thinks of the wild woman as the big sister she never had. Due to Tsukiko's influence, Akio began to open up to other people a little more and try to overcome her weaknesses. Also because of Tsukiko, the young Tendou can tend to have a rather vivid and imaginative vocabulary when sufficiently angered or upset, as well as having a bit of a nasty temper. 

As of now, she's living in a rented apartment in downtown, having moved away from her foster parents the moment she became a genin, never to speak to them again.

Her brother and a few of the braver clan members were the only ones in her family to show her any kindness, though not without punishment. [b]Tatsuya is tall at around 6'2, and has a rather muscular upper body due to his work in the forge. His hands and arms are covered with numerous scars, burns and callouses due to the work he does every day, but he wears them with pride as they are the symbol of all his hard work. His red eyes come from his father, and shiny red hair comes from his mother. He also has a tattoo on his upper right arm of Ketsui lodged in the mouth of an active volcano. [i]Tatsuya is a more weapon-based fighter, specialized in Kenjutsu mostly, as that is the weapon he uses most often, and has the most skill in using. That being said, his Taijutu is serviceable enough that he's not completely defenseless without his weapons, but it'll only do him so well for so long, especially against a skilled Taijutsu fighter. His Ninjutsu is also quite good, with a focus on controlling the battlefield rather than simply blasting his opponents away.

Up close, Tatsuya is a very good fighter, but he often has issues against distance opponent unless he can figure out a way to get them to come to him. He can either uses his jutsu to force his foe closer, or takes the battle to them instead. When it comes to using his Kekkei Genkai, he can sometimes use it to distract his opponents by making the ground underneath their feet really hot via forming lava just below the surface. A sneaky, but effective strategy, especially when facing an enemy of a higher skill level than him, as that split second distraction could give him just the edge he needs to either escape, or end a fight.[/i]

[i]The lava release is a very versatile Kekkei Genkai that has multiple variations and abilities depending on how one uses it. For Tatsuya, he bears an affinity for manipulating volcanic materials like as Magma making a very, very deadly opponent to go up against. His Lava attacks can change the very battlefield, giving him a good amount of Offensive, defensive, and crowd controlling abilities. An added plus to this ability is that one can convert certain earth-style techniques into Lava style ones, at the cost of an increased chakra cost.

With some practice, Tatsuya has also been able to create a rubber-like material as well, which he can change the consistency of his chakra to make it work as an adhesive. While he's not skilled enough with it yet to use it in battle, in time it could add to his crowd control and supportive abilities.

Tatsuya himself suffers no ill effects from his use of this ability, and seems to have a bit of heat resistance as well, though not enough to make a real difference against a fire jutsu(this doesn't include his own lava, which he's immune to). It's a neat party trick for him to snuff out a cigarette on with his hands, but that's about it.[/i]

[i]Ketsui is the sword that Katsuya had to make to be allowed to become a shinobi by his father, a blade of unquestionable quality and a showing of true talent and hard work to be made by one as young as him. NOt only does it have a keen edge and made from durable metal, but during the forging process(where a mix of traditional and modern techniques were applied) he inscribed special seals into the metal to give it an extra function. THe blade could now store elemental chakra with in it's self and circulate it through the blade more effectively, enabling it to more effectively take on the aspects of whatever element it pumped into it. This also makes it capable of taking on even advanced chakra natures, such as Tatsuya's own Lava Release, with remarkable ease. And since it's able to store chakra as well, that means that one can fully charge it before a mission and activate and deactivate the seals inside with a simple one handed seal and a little chakra.

Chakra effects:
Fire: The blade is wreathed in a thin, but intense veil of fire, allowing it to cut through metals with only moderate difficulty and cause third degree burns.

Earth:The blade becomes denser and more durable

The charge is big enough that it can keep the blade active for a total of 5 posts. The Lava style requires more chakra, however, so he can only hold that for about 3 posts instead of 5.[/i]

[i]This slightly bulky metal gauntlet holds some moderately complex hardware to make a more versatile version of the chakra shields used by the puppet-nin of the sand. It has a small disk-like object above the wrist which projects an energy shield around itself using the users chakra, and while the cost for maintaining the shield is low, the cost increases when blocking an attack. The stronger the attack, the more chakra it takes to defend against. At his current level, Tatsuya could defend against a B rank jutsu, though he'd be left feeling rather drained as a result. The chakra shield can be enlarge or shrunk at a moment's notice, and can even be launched along with the disc to make a decent weapon or a distraction. The projection disc is detachable, and Tatsuya usually keeps 3 extra's handy just in case. Tatsuya only has the one gauntlet, as it's still a relatively new piece he made in conjunction with his mother.

[i]Tatsuya is an honest and sociable sort, one who believes that the best way to get something is to earn it through the sweat of your brow and the strength of your will. He's very open in both mind and personality, accepting of pretty much everyone, and at times a bit too forgiving, which people have taken advantage of in the past and probably will continue to do so in the future. However, don't take that as him being slow witted or foolish, as his mind is as sharp as the blades he forges, and he has a keen intuition, honed by years of attending his family's shop, for picking out when people are lying to him or trying to pull the wool over his eyes. He tries his best to remain courteous with all kinds people, but he's no pushover, and if you don't back off nicely, he will make you back off, whether it be through words or actions.

Tatsuya is also a bit of an artist, putting his experience in the forge into various metalworking projects and sculptures. While he's not terrible, it's obvious to see that e's still trying to find his niche with the art, as every piece is very different from one another, and he has yet to see one he particularly likes yet. He's also good at drawing, but that kind of a necessity when making designs for weapons, armors, and other such works, but he does sometimes take time out of his busy days to just relax and draw the world around him, mostly just random people on the street who catch his interest.

While usually rather humble and modest, Tatsuya takes great pride in what he calls his true art form, forging weapons and armors of his own that have a cool style while still remaining practical in use. He treats every work like a piece of art, and has also taken to learning several weapon types, because he always feels that if he knows how to use the weapon himself, he can better forge it for his customers. His favorite type of weapon is the sword, but he's also learned how to effectively use staves, daggers, tonfas, and a 3-part staff, which is his second favorite weapon to use.

【[U]History[/U]】
[i]Tatsuya's father comes from a clan of reknowned blacksmiths that originated from Mizu no kuni. They were known as the Kajiya Clan, and it's said that it was members of their clan responsible for forging the blades of the Seven Ninja swordsman. However, sometime after the rise of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, a faction of the clan separated from the main branch and left Mizu no kuni, for reason's that very few outside the clan know about. The faction soon splintered off from each other, settling in several different lands across the world, keeping the name of their clan where ever they go to show that they still pride themselves in their linage.

His father, Katsuo, was born and raised in Konoha, living there for 17 years before he decided to travel to Kirigakure in order to find out more about his heritage. It was there were he met his wife-to-be, Katsumi Terumi. She was an eccentric inventor, and often considered to be the black sheep of her clan due to her . . . odd mannerisms. While the two didn't get along when they first met, their mutual love to create eventually formed into a relation ship, and after a 5 years, Katsuo returned home with Katsumi to Konoha with her father's blessing, where they were to be happily married 3 years later.

Fast forward 10 years in the future to the birth of Tatsuya, their second child and first born son. Tatsuya's early years where tough at first, as he was a rather weak baby, but he pulled through, eventually growing healthy and strong without any complications. Tatsuya soon spent a great amount of time with both of his parents in their respective workshops, though he tended to lean towards his dad's work then his mothers, he found both of them interesting. As soon as he was able, he would assist them in every endeavor they undertook, no matter how small a task they gave him to do. His family was a happy and connected one, for the most part.

The only real conflict ever presented before him was his father's staunch resolve to deny him from becomin a shinobi. Katsuo had seen both his father and brother become shonobi, only to die meaningless deaths and only him and his mother around to morn them, and he didn't want Tatsuya to become just another forgotten grave in the cemetery, killed before his time because he wass thought of as a simple pawn by the higher ups and above. Tatsuya, on the other hand, was adamant about it, wanting it more than anything else. Finally, Katsuo agreed to let the boy become a shinobi, but only if he could make a weapon that would impress him, and not a second before. The task was seemingly impossible for a then 10-year old Tatsuya, but he went at the challenge with a determination that blazed liked a wildflame.

Using Kajiya sealsmithing techniques, as well as his own talemt and skill with the tools available to him, he worked on numerous weapons, each a good viable weapon, but never reaching Katsuo's standards until one day, 4 years into the agreement, when he presented Ketsui to his father. The blade was spectacular, it's functions both practical and unique to it. It was a weapon deserving of the name Kajiya, and true to his word, Katsuo finally let Tatsuya join the academy. He took a separate class due to his age, but he was able to pass well enough, and was soon on a genin team at the age of 15. While only being a genin for a year, he shown skill and determination to succeed and thrive in the environment, and while Katsuo is far from happy about it, he is proud of his son.
