The Next Morning
Anselma awoke once again from a short nap. It seemed that everyone else was up and moving, getting ready to leave. That boys was also up helping, which was good since he actually was still alive. She was a bit scared before the way he just collapsed. She walked through the halls till she reached where she first met the boy. It seemed that all the zombies had either walked off or had been taken care of. By the increase of dead zombies from last time one was more likely that the other but you never know these days. She removed the knife and blade from the body and took a rag from one of the carts and cleaned it. The blood came off with ease on the knife but it seemed to have stained the katana. Wiping off the rest of the dried blood from her tools she put them in there sheathes and walked back to the group. It had seemed they had finished up packing and were nearly finish loading up the bus. Anselma hurried over to help with the last remaining supplies. After loading up the bus everyone took a 10 minute break to take care of miscellaneous business. After everyone got on the bus and with Miki behind the wheel and the pull of a lever they were off again. They made a few turns left and right driving very slowly avoiding as mainly cars as possible. They eventually made it to the strange drawbridge with railroad tracks underneath it. The bridge was still up and the console was still just as far away. Under the bridge there were about twice as many zombies on the tracks than were on the streets. It seemed overtime a great deal had fell in and became trapped there, due to their lack of sight. A small group shouldn't have trouble passing through them if all went well. There were ladders every so often along the wall for people who fell in to climb back out. Selma sighed and said, "So how do we want to go about this," as she looked through the window at the path that laid ther before them.
