But Kettle's friendship was everlasting. Her open personality made it easy for me to converse with her. " Well....it was inevitable for those ghost to chase me...me and Jaun barely got out alive. " I laughed lightly, knowing that I had been sarcastic...Hope Kettle notices that. Time felt like it zipped through...Kettle was so entergetic with her words and I felt alive again but soon Kettle turned towards her other companions, " Oh! A'shinok! " My voice was squeaky and moderatly volumed. I was excited to meet the lizard once more, his personality reflected my late husband...Kain. But Kettle had continued introducing the others...Jazz the goblin and Croft. They both seemed extremely nice though...Jazz had this 'odd' look. "Gentlemen, I'd like to introduce to you Princess Silcia Nonorie. She is a dear friend of mine and an astounding healer." I looked down after she said that, my title as a princess was no more. My father felt betrayed that I couldn't accept politics and so...I was spared. Telling tales of his searches for the gods who have decided to set him free from his life as a combatant without success, but many interesting stories to Kettle was fun, but the real show began as a self-proclaimed genius eyed him down. He greeted the man as politely as he could, but a certain darkness hung over that man, but nothing specific seemed off, just his whole being. Then it happened. A fan had shown up, a fan of his glory in the arena, he told story after story, some of which the goblin knew better than he did. The air was simply taken out of the room as Kettle introduced a new face, a supposed princess no less. Her name was Silcia and she certainly seemed royal enough for the part. He recognized her face, but attributed that fact to her being royalty and he had probably worshipped in the city her family ruled. He gave her a noble bow. "And what might a princess be doing here without an escort?" he asked. I couldn't hear what A'shinok exactly said but it was about an escort. It had been two years since I've had an escort, after I left the kingdom it was just me alone in the wild. With a few companions by my side. Memories always lingered in my head...it wasn't always easy to forget the damage. I could still feel the wind blowing my hair, the fateful day when I suddenly left the palace. I was smiling, happy that everyone was here but I wasn't the one who was so cheery like Kettle. In all honesty I had ignored all of Kettle's introduction since I was tired and the only one who perked up my interest was another healer. I instantly forgot her name but she seemed nice, " Hello. " I whispered giving the small girl a smile.
Kain had walked away from me to inform the king of the rants that was forming outside of the palace. And in that time the wind had started to pick up...the gods gave me a chance to finally escape, without thought I grabbed the sides of my crown. " I will no longer...be trapped. " And so I slipped off the silver crown and set it on the ground. I was already set to go. I untied my corset and took off my skirt. My skinny white dress was noticeable but I needed as much momentum as I could get, the skirt waved in the air and thus...I was ready to set off, " Hear my call dragon..." I was in the air, my white hair being pulled back by the force as I fall. Finally...I was free, the dragon caught my fall and thus we both flew out together. Far from the city of Nale....
Seeing that his innocent question obviously brought forth some wonderful memories of a past unlike the present, A'shinok simply bowed his head and stood back up. Returning to the group, he ate some more, astonished by the voraciousness of the small bird like girl. It shocked him how much she and the catiger she rode were eating. As more and more poured in and A'shinok was overwhelmed by the eyes a dragonborn as large as himself attracted. He would have loved to greet them all but one stuck out to him, stealing all of his focus. A man he was told to kill, but somehow had escaped him. He had never been so apologetic in his life. He probably scared the man to death with the roar of sorrow that was nearly indistinguishable from any other loud roar he bellowed before grappling onto the poor soul in a bear hug, lifting in the air until he too saw from a height of eight foot seven. He spouted many apologies, each more sincere than the last. He set the poor fool down, figuring some explanation was in order, and went back into a less fun tale from his arena days. The poor boy was in shock, wordless and drooling with his heart skipping beats. In his mind was the replay of events long passed but not forgotten, not even in dreams. Waiting for the scaled man to squeeze the life from his remaining body, he let it all happen just so his nightmare would end. But then an apology came. Stumped again he listened to the details then realized what was going on with A'shinok Duran, a man who had changed. Leon sat still, thinking more than speaking and breathing. He wondered why Kettle had brought this man there. It seemed as though his perspective had once again been wrong. Old enemies, the nightmares of past, could change in a moment. He let his breath in, unsure if he was ready to accept this encounter as real. After all he could be dreaming... ok perhaps not dreaming. Leon looked around, knowing this was indeed the real world he lived in, just another part of it during an important meaning centered around someone everyone in the room knew and respected. This couldn't be Leon's dream, it had to be her dream, the one she arranged. Looking back to A'shinok he smiled, wanting to know more about his nightmare if just to understand that
