Personality: 
Xander is hard-working, and that's one of the many aspects of his personality that has made him survive so long on his own. Xander is secretive and mistrustful when you first meet him, but in this era who isn't? He's dangerous when he is angry and often has a temper that flares when he doesn't intend to. He has gotten better at keeping cool and forgetting his temper but it is still there. Xander is calm, cool and collected when the world asks for it. He is arrogantly confident, and is one of his major flaws. 
Back Story: 
Xander's parents were killed in a car accident when Xander was 10. He lived in foster care until he turned 18, and then he finally had his freedom. Xander never got to attached to people knowing they would eventually leave. He eventually became an FBI agent. When the out break started he fled to the mountains and slowly starting moving around the country never staying in the same place for too long.
