Clover manages to get through her shower without passing out, but only barely. As she starts to dry her hair, the freckled witch glances at the mirror and takes note of the purple colored bags that have formed under her eyes. ‘I look like a zombie,’ she thinks, chuckling deliriously. She clicks the hair dryer off and pulls on her clothes for the day, an over-sized blue sweater and black skinny jeans. Clover tries her best to apply her makeup so it doesn’t look like she is an extra on ,’The Walking Dead,’ but is only mildly successful. Giving up, she grabs her book bag and starts her journey towards the cafeteria, where the energy drinks await her. As she leaves the dorm building and crosses the main courtyard, Clover stops when she two boys standing exceedingly close together. Normally, Clover didn’t bat an eye at two lovers being affectionate with one another in public, but this scene was a little different. The more muscular of the pair was leaning in close, his lips hovering over the other youth’s neck, the early morning sunlight reflecting off of his fangs. ‘Jesus,’ Clover breathes, turning a bit pink. ‘Jesus Christ, he’s gonna bite him right here in front of God and everybody.’ Was it normal for vampires to feed in front of people? Clover had never met one before, so she couldn’t be sure. The redhead looks away from the strangers and hurries toward the cafeteria, mortified to have almost intruded on such an intimate moment. ---
