Thasseldar nodded at Clark and called Hanson in. "What?" Hanson said as he came into the room. "Let this guy go off wherever he wants. I have what I want." Hanson stared a bit. "This guy stabbed you in the leg and has the pretence of an assassin. Let him go?" Thasseldar stared at him. "'This guy' has failed at his duty, and I don't see the reason for unnecessary bloodshed. If there's a next time, then yes, he's dead on the spot. But for now... I have other things. Such as figuring out the cause of the rather unstable dimensional ties around here."
