Jack Missouri Classroom Tagged;; Elijah - [@RangingWolf] Jackdaw probably should have expected it, but, honestly, his eyes had been on the whole 'Maintenance Worker' bit, and so, when he got his report back as 'Vault Security Chief', his mind had certainly been thrown for a loop. He could have expected a regular security officer, but to get Chief, without even moving up through the ranks? This was really, really odd, considering there was really no reason for the Overseer to put him in such a high position. Had the man been monitoring him, trying to see how loyal he was to the vault? Come to think of it, a few of the things he did was rather...questionable, such as cleaning his dad's old stuff, target practicing in the boiler room, and things such as that nature. This could easily be something of a test, to see if he was truly loyal to the vault. Jack had no problems with that, although the suspicious nature of it all cautioned him slightly. His father had seen this vault as a home, despite all of it's discrimination against refugees, and Jack has come to see it as his home, as well. He'd do his duties with a focused, driven mindset, and he would hopefully make his mother and father proud. Standing out of his seat, the boy turned around, about to head to the exit. There was really no reason for him to stay here. He had a few friends, such as Devon and Cassidy, but they were both adults, with Devon being a security guard and Cassidy being one of the cooks. He didn't really get along with the other teenagers of the vault, due to a lot of them being discriminatory, and he generally enjoyed talking with adults, regardless. He was practically an adult himself, and he had no interest in childish business. The other students never really saw much of Jack, and that suited him just fine. He didn't know what the future had in store for him, but he knew that it did not hold him being in some punk gang like the 'Rattlesnakes', or something similar to that. Dark golden-amber eyes glanced around as other students filtered out, his usual neutral frown pulling at his lips. As a few other students made their way past him, Jack continued his walking, hands resting in the pockets of his, for once, fully zipped up jumpsuit, only unzipped a few inches below the collar. He was a pretty tall guy, standing at around 6 feet, give or take an inch, and his build was tough;; lean, yet muscular, another reason why no one really bothered him. Last time that happened, the other boy had gotten pulled out of school with a broken arm and a half-torn ear, and Jack had yet another minor scar added to his face, this time by a switchblade. The Rattlesnakes could be very...violent with those knives. A bit carried away by his thoughts, Jack hardly noticed when he almost bumped into a still-seated student. However, sharp instincts took over, and Jack stopped himself a few centimeters away from the occupied desk, his eyes subconsciously narrowing at the boy. "Sorry about that..." He said with a nod, before pausing. Shit...what was this guy's name again? He didn't really try to remember the other students' names..."Elijah, right?" However, he had a pretty good memory. Elijah fitted the guy's face.
