A great amount of time has passed since the time they fought. Lynda had reforced her security, while Pamela was throughly dismissed since she left Cruz alone. Agni waited for Cerberus to come while he thought about his conversation with Lyn.

Lynda walked towards the door. Then, she turned back to Agni, who was laying on his bed.

[color=slategray]"About your hatred... what makes you 100% certain that it was Cruz that killed your mom? Just because she said his surname?"[/color]

I came..."[/color], he said, breathing hard. Agni sat on one stone bench, while Cerberus put Cruz in the other and returned to his master's side.

[color=92278f]"I still hold firm to my belief that it was you who killed my mother back in the past. But since everyone believes you that much, I decided to hear your part of this story. Upon hearing it, I will make my own conclusion of what you truly are. Innocent or guilty."[/color], he said. Cruz looked down at a moment. [color=39b54a]"Your mother. Her name was Rosangela Blackheart, right?"[/color], he asked. Agni, surprised that he remembered, nodded. [color=39b54a]"I remember her. Now I do. After all, she saved me in the past."[/color], he said. [color=39b54a]"I was in a forest, collecting some stuff that the more experts of my people asked me. Then, a group of magicians saw me and chased me through the forest. I ran for a while, but I eventually tripped and fell. I would have been able to run, but I twisted my ankle."[/color], he kept telling his story to Agni. [color=39b54a]"And then your mother appeared. I remember her wearing a black ad white dress while holding her umbrella and wearing a deviant smile. She just swinged it once and then a big flood drove the other magicians away. After that, she came to me and helped me getting up. I told her I was a technomagician and pleaded for her to spare my life. She just smiled and said that she wouldn't kill me... yet"[/color], he spoke. [color=92278f]"So... my mother... she saved you..."[/color], Agni spoke. [color=39b54a]"When she saved me, I remembered that she spoke about you and your little sister. She said that she would like that I met both of you, but I had to decline, since I was on a hurry. Then, she said something like this: 'When my boy grows up, I'll tell him to meet you. You won't escape the fate of being his friend. Think about as a way of repaying for my work.' And then she left."[/color], he finished. Agni looked even more down to the ground. [color=92278f]"So... when my mother said about you... she meant... for me to meet you?"[/color], he said, with his voice shaking. [color=39b54a]"I'm really sorry that she was killed. It's true, I really am."[/color], Cruz said, worried. [color=92278f]"Does... that mean... I was wrong? Killing you... is not what I should have done? And that... you didn't killed my mother?!"[/color], he spoke loudly. [color=39b54a]"I would never kill your mother, of that I'm sure. She was so kind to me."[/color], he said.

[color=92278f]"Cruz... I... I'm sorry... I never meant to..."[/color], he said, while tears slightly fell from his eyes. Agni felt the guiltness hitting him pretty badly. He wasn't sure of anything anymore. [color=39b54a]"A-Agni, you don't have to say you're sorry. Come on, I'm not mad at you."[/color], Cruz said. [color=92278f]"B-But... but... I almost killed you. How can you not be mad at me?"[/color], he asked. [color=39b54a]"You had a reason to suspect me. I was the one who should have spoken with you before any of this could happen. So part of our misunderstandings are my fault too."[/color], he said. [color=92278f]"You... what everyone said was right... It's impossible for someone like you to kill someone. But... you must hate me, don't you...?"[/color], Agni asked once again. [color=39b54a]"No, I don't."[/color], Cruz answered.

Agni got up after hearing that. [color=92278f]"What? You don't hate me?"[/color], he questioned. Cruz got up a little slower than Agni did and walked towards him. [color=39b54a]"What would we win if I started hating you all of a sudden? Just more fights. And being honest with you, I'm kinda tired of fighting because of hatred and revenge."[/color], Cruz spoke. [color=39b54a]"Besides, not just because I own my part of the deal with your mother, but I want to know more about you. You know, you're so closed and quiet and all the depressing stuff that I want to know the Agni you're currently hiding."[/color], he said and smiled a little. Agni dried up the tears that were still falling. [color=630460]"Do you really... want to be my friend?"[/color], Agni asked. [color=39b54a]"Of course. I mean, for me, the more friends I have, the merrier."[/color], Cruz said.

After that, Agni looked at the sky. [color=92278f][i]Mom... is this what you wanted for me to do?... No, I'm definitely sure that you wanted this.[/i][/color], he said, finally letting up a smile. [color=39b54a]"Y-Yeah... I think..."[/color], he said. [color=92278f]"Then let's go."[/color], Agni said, walking towards the door. As Cerberus helped Cruz once again, Agni looked at the sky once more. [i][color=92278f]Mother... if you're watching me, I'll be a better person this time.[/color][/i], he thought and left.
