Landon Reed
Landon heard the police sirens going off as he walked down the street, but that wasn't anything new. This city was known for their crime rates, especially in this part of town. Not really caring about what was going on, he covered his ears in attempt to muffle the loud sound and continued on his way. He walked to an abandoned apartment complex that was actually a bar, a place he has been going to since he was about 15 to get away from his home and father. As he entered the bar, he noticed a girl- a pretty, young thing with her fiery red hair and strikingly gorgeous body. She was talking to a bunch of sleaze-balls. By the look of their faces, he knew they were going to try to do something to her. Maybe she could take care of herself, but Landon was in a chivalrous mood and the girl looked too young for him to let things happen; she might get hurt or worse. He walked over to the girl, placed an arm around her and glared at the two guys next to her. That was enough to make them scatter. Landon took the seat that was now available next to the girl and ordered a beer. While he waited, he said to her, "I'm not even going to talk about how you seem way too young to be in a place like this, but a girl like you at least should be careful of who you acquaint yourself with. Now if you want to hit me for touching you without permission, go right ahead." He lifted both his arms up to show he meant no harm and that he was really okay with it if she wanted to hit him.
Liam Hamilton
Liam was done with his afternoon classes for the day and had to go to work. He hurried onto the bus and sighed in relief that he made it. The class was running a bit late and if he didn't get on this bus, he would be 10 minutes late to work. He relaxed and sat onto one of the available seats. He pulled out his flash cards and studied them until he reached his stop. There were not enough hours in a day for Liam so he needed to be as efficient as he can with his time. Once he reached his destination, he got off the bus and sped-walked to a somewhat hipster coffee shop. It wasn't his cup of tea- or coffee- but they were hiring and the pay was good. He went to the break room and changed into his uniform before clocking in. His coworkers gave him polite hello's and he returned the favor, but that was as far as his work relationships went. He stood behind the cash register, ready to start taking some orders. He glanced around the shop; it was a busy day with people lined out to the door. "Well, better get started," he thought to himself and started helping out the first customer.
