Alder would be more gruff and rough looking. Scruff on his face, brown hair, grey eyes. His hair is a little long and shaggy, rough cut and he keeps it in a short pony. He's tall, wide shouldered with rough hands. Lightly tanned etc. But that's just how I picture him. He's very manly in my mental images lol
