Umm well they started off across the pond but only Alder is actually European. So hometown could be possible somewhere in Wales I think. I'd like that. Wales is pretty. 

Alder is his late twenties - early thirties. In my head and the story version he's twenty-nine. And very hot. 
Crow is between twenty and twenty-three. I haven't settled on an age yet. 
Felix on the other hand is between nineteen and twenty seven, preferably closer to Crow's age than Alders. 
Vivian is eighteen, her birthday is three days after she leaves town with them. 

Crow and Felix should have met in school, since they're best friends, and would have started the band together. Most likely with their former bassist, who, by the way, is dead. They would have met Alder when they were hunting down a wolf that was killing people in the woods near their home town and ended up with him joining them because Felix saw an image of a girl with her mother. A vision, you could say. Alder actually knew Vivian's mother and knew when he'd met the girl that there was something he'd never deny about her. ;)
