Powers: Shadow manipulation - can control any amount of darkness, forming it into shapes that he chooses at will, including weapons. He can also become shadow in both the 2-D and 3-D planes, and even the ability to instantly travel between to known points. (He can't appear in places he has never seen nor known, such as a secret base.)

Doppelgängers - can create Shadow Clones of himself that move and act as separate beings, but ultimately follow his command and know everything he does. They share a mental link.

Equipment: Cybernetic eye - can "jack" into nearly any system and directly interface with it, including hacking machines and creating programs within.

Personality: Can be extremely sarcastic and arrogant, but also very intelligent and sporadic. He jumps quickly from one mindset to another and is highly regarded in Helios for his capabilities, even by the CEO himself. He doesn't prefer to kill, but will when needed, and is very honest in most situations with his comrades. Occasionally hears voices, is considered slightly unstable, but tests have proven otherwise.

History: Jack was, at first, a very seemingly normal child, just another boy who played with his imaginary friends when left at home with his mother while his father worked at Helios, which was quite an accomplishment for someone of his age. Both of Jack's parents were younger when he had been conceived, and the two quickly settled down and become model parents by the end of their mid-teens.

It wasn't until his fifth birthday that they realized their son had a gift. His imaginary friends turned out to be not quite so false, but his parents were actually quite relieved, thinking they had been haunted by some unfriendly spirits. He was placed under significant surveillance and taught how to control his abilities as he grew, his father growing more important in the company by the day. Eventually, Jack enlisted in the Helios Special Forces, serving his time as a soldier with honors.

Currently, Jack is enlisted as the commander of a select team of Metahumans employed by the CEO of Helios to track down the dangerous Metas known as the Freedom Fighters. He takes great pride in his work, and will stop at nothing to contain and destroy the terrorists that endanger his family.

Appearance: Jack is 6'2" and broad shouldered, although the rest of his well muscled body looks a bit lanky by comparison. He has feathered, brushed back hair that is a rich chocolate brown, with natural highlights. One eye is a deep green, while the other is cybernetic and bright blue. Usually attired in a deep shadow blue T-Shirt with a startlingly black jacket, trimmed with the gold color that represents Helios, keeping the sleeves rolled up. He generally wears matching jeans and some heavy boots.
