So is this still happening anytime soon? Ever? Are factions still up for grabs? OOC up?

Could we start this RP with a broad Spanish Civil War type communist/anarchist front, and then have schisms develop, opening up the possibility of another left faction in America? In reality, there would have most likely been a split between the Leninist/RSDLP inspired factions in the American radical left, and between the classical socialists/orthodox Marxists/anarcho-syndicalists. If the first is taken, could I take the second if and when such a schism develops?
