Plasma manipulation, Supernova is a living star contained within a 17 year old boy, so far the most he can do with his powers are making fireballs in his hand witch he can throw, and the fact that when he loses control he starts burning everything around him, his powers put him on Helios most wanted. (I left a lot of room for power development.)

Equipment: 
A power limiter created by Helios, as much as he hates them he's thankful for the device...it gives him some sense of control.

Personality:
Despite his rough past, Oliver is a kid who always has a smile plastered on his face, His heart is much bigger than it should be and despite his destructive powers Oliver hates killing and any time he can avoid it he will. The only time he's dangerous is when he gets pushed to far, threatening his friends would be a good way to turn him from a happy kid to a force of nature.

History:
When Oliver was seven his family was arrested for being Metas, he was very young and was taken in to be used as a lab rat, for 10 years he was kept safe from the world, and he was taught lots of things, they kept him to see how his powers would change. As he grew it became clear that his powers were much more dangerous and possibly useful than when he had first arrived. As he grew he started to become more powerful and less in control of himself. So the genius of his power limiter was invented. When the boy started to get old enough to understand the truth he sought a way to free himself from his captors. His escape was well planed, he waited until he was being moved to a new facility away from the city...just in case. he used a vial of Adrenaline to, at the perfect moment set his powers off and cause a huge explosion. Everyone around him were reduced to ashes in a moment, but Oliver had escaped...He would cry for their deaths later. He made his way to the Freedom Fighters after that...still regretting his means of escape.

His hair and eyes glow with energy constantly.

And when he uses his powers, the limiter somehow makes his clothes immune to his super heat by making it a part of the power.
