So like a  exostructures embedded in the alveoli of the lungs to convert CO2 to O2? I don't see why not, if they are crafting babies to be war gods I don't think they are going to pull any punches.

I'm going to go into GRAM suit once they get them but yes while their inner working are mostly the same they come in different variants for different field operations like  exposed vacuum operations. Though these specialized variants are rare and used on a need to use bases as the standard variant can handle almost all field operations by itself as that was its intended purpose.
